What have you done to your JEEP today

Matt is great to work for. I find his level of customer service impressive. After working retail for three years 2 of them on a management level I know how crazy it can be. Thankfully I stay in the back playing with things. Right now it's MUTT heaven. Have one Willys M151, two M151a1s, and...

Questions and Help on WC 22 T215

Restoring a WC 22 T215 at my new job. Have few questions if anyone may know. The Original Bell housing (or at least one removed from truck) has one hole for the Transmission Bolts missing. Never machined out or thread just flat area. Looking to the front it is the bottom left side. Of the...

What have you done to your JEEP today

The past two jeep I have used/seen run in cold weather have had slight "milky" residue (key word here) near the oil fill/air intake pipe deal. During the warmer months this would clear up. Long drives would also have same effect. Far as the oil I had to do two oil changes before I got clean...

What have you done to your JEEP today

I suggest pulling the head! I had the same issue with a CJ2A and found the head gasket was getting hit by the piston causing it to deform letting coolant into the cylinder. Looking at other gaskets I found not many with same issue but may have been a bad run of them causing this.

    Question about torsion bars

The biggest issue is maintenance I believe. Folks just do not pump enough grease into the torsion bar areas. There is two brass bushings in the hull that support it and two zerk fittings that require alot of grease. The further bushing in requires a lot of pump just to get the grease to it...

    Chattanooga Fv-436 SCRA

Unless its like alot of other backwards things yes it is. (know how weird it is to push switches down for on?) But That box is the firewire control box. Which like what I assume 70% or more of the 432's in private hands don't work. I asked about common failures and easy fixes on forums and...

Finaly cutting down and giving up

I've been under the impression for a long time that the K60 is a Multi-Fuel- compression engine. Far as Contam fuel I am assuming you mean un-filtered waste oils and I would tell anyone never to run that unless in a combat emergency situation. Otherwise properly filtered waste oil, along with...

    Tanks destroys home in Minnesota

Well, atleast it looks like either that's a beater or they took the time to remove everything on the outside so as to not break anything.

    Chattanooga Fv-436 SCRA

I use to be partly active when I helped take care of a Museums Motor Pool (they got shady with few things so I stopped getting involved) But one of the gentleman there apparently liked me enough to get me involved with his new toy. So far I have been the primary operator along with two of my...

Deuce to a 8' Pickup Truck

Dude, you seriously open yourself up for so much trouble. I suggest let your first truck be an old Nissan with power steering, brakes with a stick. Not something that generally cost as much as a small nissian pickup to fix if you mess it up.

    Hello Again from Hixson Tennesse!

The Bravo, Alpha, and the Beech all fly! In fact they (T-28) flew over the Talladega race this year. Hixson is located just north of Chattanooga. The mule is kinda weird, in the since it is a A5 but has a A4 bed on it from what I can tell.
