Deuce vs. Tree That Fell On Fire House

I'm on Jones Rd. where the old square deal used to be. I don't think I know you, but maybe we could meet up some time and I can check out the deuce if you don't mind?

Curious... There's no place like home ...

I agree with the M817. I saw one with a 1600R20's and it looks sweet. Huge too.

Deuce vs. Tree That Fell On Fire House

It wasn't exactly a rest break. If you listen to the end of the first video, you'll hear "Put the f**king phone down..." cause we were busy. The pictures of the flooded stuff I took before work this morning in the pooring rain. But it's fine. I've been out in way worse weather doing stuff nobody...

Deuce vs. Tree That Fell On Fire House

Well just 2 blew when that pole fell. After they hooked it back up a few hours later (incorrectly), they blew another 4 fuses and shut down anything north of Mrs. Walkers, Riviera Beach, and Sunrise Beach. Also Lacey Road. BTW What's your name and do I know you?

Deuce vs. Tree That Fell On Fire House

OK, So here is the full story with a few pictures. I wish I had time to get much better ones of all the chaos. The first call we got was at 3:30pm Saturday. I responded from my house like normal, 1/4 mile from the Fire House. On my way, I'm coming up to the street I need to turn down. The...

Deuce vs. Tree That Fell On Fire House

Well, I got some pictures of the flood after it receded a couple feet. Where should I post them? I'll try to get more later on too.

Deuce vs. Tree That Fell On Fire House

Sorry, I don't get what you mean by this? I do try to get all the pictures I can, although there usually isn't time. The truck just left about 3 minutes ago for a house fire, but I can't go because I need to go to work very soon. I'll try to get some pics of the flooding today. That deuce...

Deuce vs. Tree That Fell On Fire House

For all you people on here, I know you love hearing stories of how the deuce was used for good, and you all want pictures. But all I have are some videos I took off my cell phone so they kind of suck due to 40mph+ winds and having to move all around too. We had a ridiculous storm hit us today...

    hemmit?? any for sale?

M977 and M985 are the cargo trucks I believe. They are rare, but there are a few for sale. I believe there is a member on this forum who has some he might part with, but I may be wrong. Price wise, you will spend a fortune on it. And yes, they look awesome.

    HEMTT Engine swap to 5-ton

Make sure you get an older model one from the 1980s or a new one thats only a couple years old. The Detroit in our old 1980s fire truck and the new ones > 2002 are fine. The one that I believe is a 1999 just started leaking oil and tranny fluid (I know tranny is separate but still) in ridiculous...

    HEMTT Engine swap to 5-ton

Probably a dumb newby ? but here goes

Well, they use them in Fedex/UPS trucks, buses, etc... So the 5.9 Cummins will run that 5 ton around all day. It puts out roughly 350 hp and 650 lb/ft of torque stock. The newer models anyway. That's way more than the standard military motors. Add a nice intake and stacks, and you'll easily get...

Probably a dumb newby ? but here goes

Stomp, as far as I know, Detroit 60 series engines are HUGE. Unless there are smaller, pickup sized variants, I'd say no. I know the one we have in our tower ladder we just bought is 515hp and it's massive. But there may be more and I'm just oblivious.

    deuce with super singles/off road?

I've seen that one on there for a while. I'd be afraid of getting it dirty... Offer him $8k or something see if he'll bite. Good luck getting one.

    deuce with super singles/off road?

395s seem to be the consensus for that, but you need to learn how to drive in the sand with the deuce since it will be different than with your truck. If you do go and buy one, please message me. I'd love to go and see it since you're right near me. If you don't mind that is...
