I just saw this today - linked from another post. Wow. I laughed my ass off at the damage that truck did to the AC units and roof with hardly any momentum. If you hadn't turned... god I don't even want to think how many cars you would have pancaked. 36,000 lbs (or is it more?) going backwards...
Well hello fellow NJ member. I'm just south of you. The debate of super singles vs NDTs off road doesn't have a clear answer. There are 100 threads on it. I would think if you air them down like with a regular truck it would be fine. When we drive out there even trucks with stock tires are fine...

5 ton stretched 3" supply line to the fire house in all that snow. MVs FTW. Can any of you tell what kind of 5 ton that is?
Also, I say thank you to the 8 firefighters that were L.O.D.D. for 2010, as well as all past L.O.D.D. and future...
All I know is that I can not believe you don't like the sound of a 2 stroke detroit... they are amazing.
Cat > all. But for this use they are expensive.
60 series detroit will get you better mileage than a cat and be cheaper to buy/maintain, but keep in mind they don't have much power for...

How did that happen? Hopefully nobody got hurt. Doesn't look like it. Are you sure the HEMTT was involved in that accident and didn't just stop to help? I don't see any damage. Maybe a couple scratches.
BTW what does HEMTT mean?
