I live in Oklahoma and it gets cold here but not too long. So I don't think I'll be using a attic heater!

Ok guys I have ordered 2 sending units for my 1009 and they havent had a vent on them! What I was wondering is if I cap the vent hose off and drill a small hole in the fuel cap (that is how the civi ones work) if it would work?

Yea it is not much fun! I drove mine home about 10 miles once (bobber) with a broken rear axle shaft! It acts real weird!! I think it is something you do if you have to!

The first thing you need to do to any CUCV is a Doghead starter relay mod!! Ask me how I know:shock:
Just look at the stickies under CUCV and it is cheap!

If you just need a pintle you can but a 4 bolt one from tractor supply that will bolt rite on. I got the one with the 2" ball so i can haul a civi trailer. If you can't find one pm me and I'll see what I can do.

My last deuce a bobber with 395s would run 70 but liked 62. And would about throw you out the windshield if you slammed on the breaks! My "new" deuce won't do any where close! It has 900s and likes 53ish but have had it up to 57-8. Haven't had the time to do to much to it. Just remote break res...
