Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

NDT, though your diagnosis is correct, your resolution is laughable; but hardly tangible. Thank you for recognizing not only our combat experience, but the efforts made to continue the mission.
The ACTUAL solution for these 2 issues are a replacement of the starter with a newer, updated...
When I get home from work, I'll post what happened, why it happened, and what you can do to remedy it. Not to embarrass any one or call any one out; more so the intent to help others should the same symptom arise with their personal equipment
I have the pictures. But for some reason I can't load them from my phone. Can some one please give me an email to send the pictures to and repost them for me? You guys will like to Teflon coated 5th wheel plate; no more greasing of the 5th wheel plate! Lol
From my experience at the port in Kuwait, it is basically stating the truck has been inspected and is ready for transport. The get back signs are attachments to the vehicles, not written on them.
The steering wheel is smaller, the cab has A/C and its not an after thought. Your right about that hose, it's an egr componet. The 1070 has the same hose. The stack is moved back so it's easier to armor the cab. Part of the frag kits is a storage box above the spair tire. The storage box next to...
I was in 96th trans for just over 6 years. Went to 418th jan of this past year for a deployment. When we got our hets from leather neck, we got them from 377. Any one who wants the info I have, please feel free to PM me.
It's interesting to me that your running about 400 miles on one payload...
So what is she doing a mileage? Also, I've talked to the buyer, I will tell you as well; that's a 377 truck. Be COGNIZANT of that fact! I have some horror stories about them from personal experience and know their practices is NOT just a COC issue. We can talk off line if you like. Just please...
there are a couple ideas I have in my head. a FMIC could work, but I don't know how large you could go, thus how effective/efficient it would be. A side mount could work with a puller fan, or even a top mount. A A/WIC could also work, but I think it would need a closed circuit coolant system...
Question, could the water heated intake manifold be modified to get rid of the coolant jackets, thus increasing flow and decreasing boost pressures? Also making the use of an after cooler more useful/friendly? I can't wrap my head around how cooling the intake charge to no lower than engine...
Here is a question, the intake manifold is heated by the coolant correct? And if so, can this be bypassed to allow for a more open intake manifold/plenum for higher intake flow, thus reducing boost pressures?
I like the idea of the displacement of the LDS engine. But I also like the responsiveness, in terms of power and modification, of the 6cta. Gearing is not much of an issue for me as I like the spicer 3035A trans and the low gearing of the top loader rockwell axles. Plenty of grunt down low, and...
Thank you for the input. I was thinking about re powering with the 6cta my self. I'm going to continue to do my research, but really appreciate any other information. Thanks again
Welcome from Fort hood. I have the same issue. It seems that fort hood family housing (on post housing) has some sort of issue with OD green sitting out side my house. Lol.
