Found the casue of our troubles....took the injection pump off and the hydralic head was rusted on some of the cylinders and generally full of garbage. Someone here (can't remember who) had a freshly rebuilt pump off an LDT 465 they pulled for a (Cat?) repower.....can't find the thread...

The main problem I see with an intercooler set up on the multifuel is the water jacketed intake that heats the incoming charge.

Just take the frames to the glass shop and tell them you need laminated safety glass cut to fit. Same thing with the door glass to......works fine. It's not DOT approved.....but what is on our deuces ;) ?

The windshield glass itself can be cut at any glass shop for $30 or less.

NIX the WIX 42851!!! ...the filter shown as a direct interchange. I got this response from my inquiry for flow rate: 330 CFM!!! DO NOT use it!!!!!!!! They didn't respond to my inquiry about the 42851. Will ask again.

Memphis has the J pipes in OEM for $186 + shipping (20 or so) other than that I think you are SOL from my recent experience...unless you get the stainless stell ones ($$$) from Saturn.

I got a response from Baldwin on their interchange filter. The PA1620 has a flow rate of 306.744 CFM @ 6" H2O. That would make it unsutable for the LDT465, as it has been stated a filter flow rate of 410CFM.
