Haha...well I can't say that I fixed it cause now it is working as it should. I went out to work on it and it fired right up. Maybe the electrical short fairy took care of it for me.

Not sure what kind of wood it is, but it came from my neighbors tree that he cut down. I know it was an evergreen and the leaves were oval shaped and about half dollar size.
