It's nice that GL is now using larger photos on many auctions - the only problem is the GL website picture viewer will not maximize to show the entire photo (one has to use horizontal and vertical sliders to view each photo). Hey GL, can you fix that?

Bolt on receiver plate on a M1008 potential issues I also have a receiver plate (not as long or with as many bolt holes - mine is just 4 bolt holes) on my M1008 that was installed by the previous owner(s). It was bolted on too with four bolts, but they took off the "L" shaped reinforcing...

Hmmm, looks like I did have the feet oriented right, but what pctrans said about dips and binding made sense too. Next time I'm home, I'm going to put a tow bar foot on my front tube and check for travel and binding...

Great input pctrans. That was a brand new (in the box) tow bar and believe it or not, the hole for the pin was not reamed out and the factory pin did not fit - so we had to use a "tractor bolt" (fixed now). No TM was in the box, so I "winged it" regarding foot orientation - now I have a TM...
