I have one Deuce that after I stop the engine I can hear the turbo blades spin down for at least 3~4 seconds after, a dry spin noise, this is the only one with a whistler turbo........the other Deuces don't do that
What gives? bad bearing? bad turbo assy?
Thanks,
Ed
I have now formed my opinion about GL auctions....... the big percentage is "how luck" you are until you recover it.
The ad just give a small idea and most of the time is a general "cut and paste". What will happen till you actually recover it is another issue.
My last purchase, I paid more...
I am looking for a radiator for my M817, if anyone know who may have or have it please send me a PM.
Also, is there any civilian part number available from Cummins?
This truck was perfect and running at inspection time but someone crashed it or into it between auction and pick up, the heater...
I am just getting a loop message saying that the administrator wan t me to go to user CP, I already put down my location but still cannot go nowhere else, keep getting the same message...don't even know if this will post ......
I have seeing a few guys complaining about stuff missing or damaged that happen AFTER auction, did anyone had any sort of refund or replacement after complaining to GL?
Reason that I ask is that I just got a 5 ton truck from Pineville,LA with at least $1,600 in damage and a stolen heater.
I...
I was at Warner Robins/GA yesterday and they already were loading semi trucks, the lost the warehouse and lot, everything supposed to go to OK. I really don't see the point as 80% of the stuff there is pure junk. Funny thing is that I asked one of the semi truck driver where he was heading and...
Funny thing is that the truck still belong to the U.S. Government (license plates) but it's being used by a non government employee (GL).....in case of an accident, death, property damage etc...who gets the liability?
Re: RE: Re: RE: New GL rule, PAY first! EUC approved oo not.
Well, I got the PAID invoice in the very next day from payment.....I assume that my EUC was approved in 5 days and I am OK to pick the trucks up......that was a record time for the EUC approval, I was experiencing 12 days before.
Re: RE: Re: RE: Redstone Listing Descriptions
I guess "runs" is for the engine....."drives" is for the vehicle.....I think every time you bid without inspection you are gambling.....descriptions are always off, same pic for various trucks, and mileage who knows for sure when they just change...
Nameplates will tell where and when they were rebuilt.
A new VIN #.....my first A3 I sent the request for SF97 using the new vin # only and the SF 97 come like that.
My second A3 I did the same but for some reason they added the USA number to the VIN number in the SF97

Re: RE: New GL rule, PAY first! EUC approved oo not......
Let me understand, You pay but get no receipt at all?.....guess will be paying with CC only for now on......at least I can always charge it back if needed.
Anyway, they make the rules and maybe the rules make sense....what I don't...
At least new for me, sent out two EUC forms last week and was waiting for them to come back approved and for the e-mail asking me for the funds as I always wire the funds instead charging the card on file.
Well, today I got one, and only one e-mail saying that my account was going to be...
that's what I was about to ask......why a dealer in VA need to transport a deuce that come for $450 or so if he can scrap it in whatever State he purchased and make about $1,000 profit?
Just take all the CTIS system out and plumb the inflating tube for a valve stem. You will ended up with the CTIS valve and plumbing, CTIS cover, counter balance weight and two nuts left out.
The M35A3's spare tires come with just the valve stem set up .
Re: RE: Re: RE: who is bidding
Hello Allen,
You are not the first and will not be the last one, it's hard for anyone to read rules and instructions....also, don't take it personal as most of the discussion was not about you but about the rule itself....very interesting thread and I myself...
Re: RE: Re: weight of m817 dump
Agree 100%.......today at Pineville, AL. auction the M817 with winch went about $2K more than the average without.....
The M817 w/w weight is 23,755 lbs. (winch weight 665 lb) and Max payload is 10,000lbs

Anyway I faxed them.....will call/ e-mail GL tomorrow as they suggest in order to verify if they have it.
