    Hydraulic Head group buy?

Well some of the boxes have already been shipped and the last couple are sitting next to me waiting to go in a few minutes. I spoke with Gimp and was given the go ahead to open one of his boxes of nozzles and take some pics of those, so when I get that done I will post them up for others to...

Hey Need help with a IP head part

I can't say for certain, but that's a bad thing. The head will only go in and out in one position. Now you need to get the motor and IP timed correctly so it will goback into place.

    M109a4 from Wisconsin to AZ

One of the great things about this website is the willingness of most people to help. I have sent several A3's down the road to various points and I have one sitting here now that is getting prepped to go to it's new home in NC. Sure that's a long drive in a truck that tops out in the low...

    M109a4 from Wisconsin to AZ

Everytime I send an A3 variant down the road I recomend the owner replace the 14.5's with 395's ASAP. Not a big difference in size but I trust the 395 a lot more.

    M109a4 from Wisconsin to AZ

I must strongly caution against airing down the tires on any A3 variant truck. The tire issues all start from the tires on these truck going flat in the first place. The internal construction of the tire is a 1/16th to 1/8th" wire mesh. Once it's bent you will never again make it straight...

    Hydraulic Head group buy?

I found where my wife hid the camera. I didn't remove the head from it's plastic bag but you can kind of get the idea. And instead of a twelve point bolt on the side they use a more normal six sided bolt on the side. The red tooth is there and everything else looks about the same. One thing...

    Hydraulic Head group buy?

Alright the heads and nozzles have arrived. However, the o rings have not. I got a call from Oringsandmore.com today and the woman told me that they were returned, well an empty box had been returned anyway. So they are shipping them out again and as soon as they arrive there will be a bunch...

What is better (oil or trans fluid)

When I was an owner operator I used to dump all my drain oil in after an oil change and at every fill up I added ATF as an injector cleaner. I wouldn't use a full tank of the stuff, but when mixed in with what's already there you should be fine. But like I said I don't think I would do a full...

What is better (oil or trans fluid)

This is actually a great idea. With the A3, can't say for certain on the M939 yet, you could remove the lines at the external filter and set up a pump system here. There is nothing different about the connections in that filter than any other trans line out there, with the exception that these...

What is better (oil or trans fluid)

Having done the flush and fill method and being in the middle of another one now I have to say it's the best way. I did trukhead's. I actually did it 5 or 6 times, I honestly forget. We bought 15 gallons in three pails from Napa. Used almost every last drop of it too. I hope to be the proud...

    Removing, rebuilding, reinstalling Hydraulic Head

I always unplug the fuel pump and bump them over. Only take a couple minutes and they fall in line.

    Oshkosh HMMWV upgraded suspension TAK-4

This was posted in 2010 so it's a bit older.

    Oshkosh HMMWV upgraded suspension TAK-4

Last I heard, and that could have changed, they did a few of them as a test for the military. The military decided to simply go with the MRAP rather than upgrade all the HUMVEE's. The only real problem they had with them was they still needed to be repowered becasue of all that extra weight...

    Deuce's oil seems very thin

In a nutshell, yes. The way to check the oil is to wait one minute after shutting the engine off. If you wait over night the filters will have drained and it will show overfull.

    Hydraulic Head group buy?

Well I just got a reply from them and my chineese to english isn't the best but I think they are ready. This is the exact quote from them "The parts are ready now. I will give you the tracking number these two days." Maybe she meant Tuesday? Basically we wound up placing an order for almost...
