How to load an M105 in/on an M35

I see I am the only one, in pictures anyway, who loaded it pintle to the rear. Any reason for not doing this? When it came time to unload it was much easier to chain it to a forklift and pull off on the dock and I felt much safer not having a chance of the pintle coming into the cab if I...

    primer?

I used Rustoleum rusty metal primer over a mostly sandblasted body. I used Xylox as a thiner. Paint was Rapco 383 green and brown and Rustoleum flat black. All sprayed through a Harbor Freight gun.

How to load an M105 in/on an M35

I simply then went to a local dock and rolled them out of the bed. The 105 fits in the bed of the deuce with no problem. The 101 fits in the 105 backwards with no problem.

Anyone replace Hawker batteries with Fiamm FGMX12120?

I replace all my batteries with type 31s from Interstate Battery. They don't sell factory blems at mine so I go with what they call econo batteries. They are batteries that were returned but tested good. At first they were $35 a battery they are now up to $45 or $50, but still not bad for a...

    Diesel in motor oil

And for fuel pressure I recently put a guage in my truck. With the motor off and just the intank pump on I get almost 5psi after the filters. With the motor at idle, 850 rpm, I get about 45psi. While driving I am getting about 65psi. If I am parked and I jsut hit the throttle quick I can get...

    Diesel in motor oil

I would recomend first replacing the O rings. If that doesn't work it could be the plunger inside the head is finally wearing out. I have rebuilt my HH and got another year out of it but now she is producing oil so it's time to replace the HH. I currently have a group buy posted for them...

    MASSIVE oil leak

My quess would be the oil line between the block and IP. I plan on replacing mine in the very near future. And when I make them I make them longer so it's less of a pain to deal with. Maybe while westy is out playing with sand I should start making and selling them.

    Hydraulic Head group buy?

I just got word from China about the injector nozzles. They are part number ADB-135S-126-7 and cost $7.00 each. If all you want is the nozzles I should be able to fit those into a small flat rate box and I think those are $6.00. So for a set of 6 nozzles it would be $48. Not a bad price on...

    Hydraulic Head group buy?

I now have the part number for the injector nozzles. My contact at the factory is putting together pricing for them now and I should have something back by tomorrow. Would anyone be interested in those for a reasonable price?

    Hydraulic Head group buy?

If anyone is interested please shoot me an email. I am trying to put together an open email list so everyone gets the same information at the same time. Plus it will help make sure everyone gets the info, I don't want to over tax my brain trying to remember where I put my list of who I spoke...

    Hydraulic Head group buy?

I fully understand the cheap China knock off fear. However, I did speak to two other SS members who have bought the China units and they tell me they are working fine and fitment was not an issue. The only concern that came up was one option was to get injector nozzles with them, which I am...

    Hydraulic Head group buy?

I have been working with a company in China for the last week or so about buying a Hydraulic Head for the deuce. As with anything the more you buy the cheaper it is for the item and the shipping. My initial quote was around $375 for one shipped to my door. Ebay link is only for reference of the...

Oh Boy I need TM 9-2910-223-35

Have you checked your fuel pressure? Should be 3 to 5psi at the secondary when using only the intank pump and about 40 to 50psi when the truck is at idle.

    Replacing HH o-rings

You know I never knew I could overtighten those screws until the other day when I was working on mine. Thanks for the good quality pics to help people out as well.

Is this DOT 3 or DOT 5?

If you still have a common vent for the master cyliner, air pack and fuel tank then now is the time to change them to single use vents. I have seen this common vent cause nothing but problems for people and their brake system. I was fortunate enough to have the military single them out for me...

    stuck oil drain plug?

On my F350 I am using a Fumoto valve in place of my drain plug. I was considering the same thing on the deuce. What size threads are the deuce drain plugs?
