    M135

A smoked transmission is the biggest thing. Does it run? Any fluid leaks? ... especially on the wheels? You have 12 brake pistons, and they will tell you if they aren't happy. Rust can be dealt with, same for paint. Rotted out gas tanks are spendy to replace. Post some pics, along with your...

Lookie What Showed Up at Work Today...

Those are really a not bad truck. Ours had a recall issue, which invloved the wiring harness, and the ability to spontaneously self combust. When that was fixed, it lived up to expectations. Way better than the MLVW!

Follow this link to see what it should look like. The restored truck is owned by a Canadian member of the Western Command club. Freedom Route Four - June 2011 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! There may be some more pics on the club website, so here it is too. Western Command Military Vehicle...

    Gl lack of cucv's

The CUCVs are being held back by GL for forklift pratice. When the operator gets skilled enough at causing the most damage in one single pass, they graduate to demilling the M35 series. The guys who handle the 5 ton equipment are really skilled!

    G749 preservation

That's looking real sweet. Now that you've stopped at the Jar Store, head over to SuperDave. He can probably fill you in as to the operation as well as any of us. If you really need it, a few of the guys in the club put many miles on these particular trucks. Next time I'm over at...

    M1008 Artic Kit, removal

If it were up to me, I would actually keep it. It is easier to sell stuff than it is to buy and re-install later on. In this part of the continent, the kit won't get used often, but the one time that you want it ... you'll really want it.

I hear HAM operators on my computer speakers

Your local HAM club will help you track him down. We hate these goofs, as they give all liscenced operators a bad name. Once he's tracked, he will find out that the FCC has even less of a sense of humor than the IRS. '73 VE7HHK

    M1008 Artic Kit, removal

Sell it to some one who will remove it for you, as part of the sale. I don't need it, but I'm sure you will get some interest in this.

Difference between original M35 and M135?

Here's the M135 with an M105 trailer. Notice the rounded edges of the hood. The M35 series are much more squared off.

Difference between original M35 and M135?

Does it look like the truck in my avitar? M135 Same thing with dual rear tires, M211. Post a picture or look on the data plate in your cab, if it's still there. The rounded hood and distictive cab will give it away.

Time is of the essence..I need the Vin location on a m-211

Get it towed. Once you have all of the beasts home and atleast 1 running, THEN you can spend the time to build a tow bar. Or better yet, get one out of the classifieds !

I want a different engine and transmission for my M135?

With a 135 you should have no problems stopping, unless you have a leak in your system. Download the TMs and start reading.
