I have been searching for a replacement oil pan gasket and a replacement for that side panel cover gasket with no luck. Does anyone have a part number or know where to locate those two gaskets?
I got the side panel off today and found the missing bolts. I also found lots of metal chunks and shavings. When removing some of the metal some small pieces could be heard falling into the oil pan, looks like I will be removing that for sure now.
That's kind of what I was thinking. The sad part is that I have been reading all the TM's and I found one that shows how to remove the lifter cover panel behind the fuel filters and the oil filters but not the one behind the compressor. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything is all.
I am working on a deuce for another member and the air compressor belt loosened up when I was bringing it to the shop. I didn't think much of it at the time because I was also dealing with a new fuel leak right in front of the air compressor so I though it got fuel on it and was just real slick...
Paul, you better have an MV this time or I'm not bringing one either.
Camoyj7, hope you make it.
Hendersond, it's in Lebanon, WI(Watertown) pretty much right off of Hwy R and Hwy SC on Blain Rd.
Dittle, the fence can wait two days.
If you are planning on using the M911 on some of those back woods snow and ice roads in the Great White North one more consideration is turning radius. the M911 needs a few back 40's to get turned so please keep that in mind also. Not trying to be a downer, just making sure that one of these...
We got together the other night and set a date for the fall Poof Stock. It was decided to be held on the week end of October 1st and 2nd. As always if you are coming from any distance you are more than welcome to show up on Friday Sept 30th.
It was decided to move the event up in hopes of...
There is plenty of room to fit the ISX motor or just about any other motor you desire in there. The hard part, that's really not that hard, will be the fab work to make mounts strong enough to handle the conditions you are looking at. Just keep in mind these trucks were never made for any kind...
Might help if we know more of the intended use for the trucks? The M911 is a nice truck when done right but is also a very expensive truck to get your hands on to begin with.
That's a very interesting build you have. I would think if you start with a 5 ton you might have a better over all platform to start with. You would have power steering, the HEMTT wheels bolt right on, larger tires for even more ground clearance. But no matter what you have a pretty cool...
Is there any special tool needed to remove the multifuel injector? Or is there anything to be cautious of when removing the injectors? I would like to remove mine for inspection but don't want to cause damage to them. I would also like to clean the nozzle if possiblebut again I don't want to...
We all have to start somewhere, and nothing upsets me more than someone screwing up one of these trucks and then scrapping it. Hope I can be of some help.
I have done a lot of work with IP's and not even I would remove one from a truck that is currently working, and I've done some stupid chit with these. Make sure the shaft doesn't move and you will be fine. Or take a road trip to SE WI and I will teach you how to do it and other things to the...
I have removed my heater box and brackets to gain access to all the fuel stuff eaasier. Plus there is no real chance of screwing anything up on the heater box.
