    Shop Day and get together

I talked to the guys coming up from KY and they got a slightly later start than planned. I wish them the best as they will be hitting Chicago right in the heart of rush hour now for sure. Just wanted to give the shop day one final bump before tomorrow. I spoke to a few guy who will for sure...

    Help at Ft. McCoy

They must have used mine for training. All the seams were on top so the water ran right in and rotted the bows. They also layed plastic sheet on the metal floor and then screwed OSB over the top of it. I give them credit for trying to insulate it with flexable ceilling tile, the raccoons...

Westfolk's Steel Oil Spin On Adapters

I finished the install of the Secondary fuel filters this afternoon. Again the mount just bolted right on. If I was to do it again one thing I would do different is to install line number 2 before I bolt the mount to the block. I had to remove the check valve to tighten the line. Another...

Westfolk's Steel Oil Spin On Adapters

I just installed the Oil and Primary filter kits on another members deuce. Took about 1.5 hours to do both. Took so long because the fuel lines were rather stuck in the old filter head. after getting out the ould mount the new primary mount went in real easy. I had to slightly adjust the...

    Help at Ft. McCoy

The last one was an air pack and I think it has to do with the time they have been sitting. When I opened up the air pack it was full of yellow cake batter looking stuff. Pretty much the same as if you take apart any air dryer after an air compressor. I almost was going to try to just clean...

    Help at Ft. McCoy

That is a very long ride. And knowing he took a bus we can assume he has no batteries or tools. This could get real interesting.

Need something picked up at McCoy?

I just got the phone call that the EUC has cleared for one that will be going to NY. Looks like I will be on my way back up to McCoy in the next few days again. Anything anyone needs looked at?

    Help at Ft. McCoy

Send me a PM with your time table and I will see what I can do. Sorry to say my shop is 166 miles in the wrong direction. I also have to agree that as of late there have been a lot of air pack issues coming out of there and I have yet to pick one up that the batteries were any good. But if...

    New girl...

Now if only you all only ment to say welcome to the new member and not plug yourselves as single and available. There is a reason we have so few women in this hobby, they get chased away.

    Having trouble starting my deuce

The bottom of each filter has a water drain on it.

    Having trouble starting my deuce

Of coure the filter is the obvious point to start. After that it almost sounds like you are loosing prime in the fuel system. Try flipping te power switch and leave the intank pump run for a minute before attempting to start and see what happens.

    Deuce from Sparta WI.to KY

I will pass the word along to him, but as for now he is coming on Friday for it. Also with the built cover this deuce is just shy of 12', so that would have to be one very low flat bed.
