There are NO filters on a GAMA goat fuel pick-up tube. Unless some one added them, which doesn't make a lot of sense.

Two things to check that most overlook. 1. The carrier bearing on the drive shaft is most probably crap and could be locking up. 2. Feel your brake drums after a run. Goats have notorious brake problems. Just a slight drag of one shoe can really slow you down.

Nothing else uses that gear box so they can be interesting to repair.

Beside the tacky paint, consider the gear box's and diffs. Unless you have drained and flushed each you have no idea what's inside or condition. This GamaGoat I'm working on is a great example. The rear diff holds 5 pints of 80-90 gear lube. I drained nearly 2 full gallons of highly acidic oil...
