    Carrier Bearing

Very true. Some of these parts were for Goat only. The bearing outside race is an exact match so it fits the rubber perfectly. The inner race is a little narrower but holds the shaft well. This is one of those items that were over engineered to the max. Very little load on this bearing. If...

    Carrier Bearing

Emmett, The original is a BCA 88208WW, However it will not be found... The replacement is a NAPA, SKF6208-2RSJ. (0085311062732) Made in USA. This is not a double steel seal like the original. However it has double rubber seals and can be relubricated, where as the original could not. This...

    grounding your goat

Looking at the driver's side of the engine you will notice a plug that attaches the engine elect. to the vehicle system. One of those wires goes from the block , thru the connector, to the hull at the motor mount. This grounds the engine to the hull. There is also a wire from the Alt. case to...

Gama Goat Transfer Case and Front Differential Change

Great Job Joe!! A tip for all Goat drivers, Check the bolts and nuts that hold the front diff to the hull/transfer case, every once in a while. They come loose and will cause bad things to happen to the transfer case. If you add some Lucas gear oil additive to the transfer you'll never have to...
