    CUCV interior color matching

The color is available through LMC Truck and I'm pretty sure Dupli-color makes a close match.

    M1031 w/crane

You could fab up a reall heavy duty rear bumper and then get some trailer legs and mount them on both ends. Then mount crane on one end of the bumper. So when you lift something lower the trailer jack legs to that the weight is being held by them and not the frame and suspension of the truck...

For you guys that have done one, how thick is the steel you are using that attaches to the bed? Does it effect the the seal at the top of the cab or at the top of the back glass at all?

    Replacement Steering Wheel or Restoration

Ok the steering wheel in my truck is pretty dingy and when it hasn't been driven in a while starts to develop some kind of green algae like stuff on it. So I've been looking at buying a replacement. GM still makes the steering wheel that goes in our truck (GM 9762307) but it's around $270! My...

    turn signal wont flash

I would just go online and check to see if they are the same. Just search for one for an 84 and then for an 86. Make sure the part numbers are the same. I'm betting they are but just to be safe. What you really want to do is get some lectra clean and a steel bruch and clean the...

    hole in fuel tank

I was going to say a short self tapping screw with a rubber washer. Stop often with the screw in place so you don't create too much heat. Also just to reiterate go really slow and take your time and get a really short screw.

    turn signal wont flash

If you tried a new flasher and it didn't work try replacing the bulbs like Barrman said. I'm on the West Side of Houston if you need any help. Also what year did you ask for when you purchased the flashers? I'm pretty certain they didn't change from '84 to '86 but if they did and you got one...

    M1028 with a M101A2 bed with pic

I'd love to get an M1028 or M1008 for cheap that had a messed up bed. I think I'd do a flat bed though. But that does look really good. Make sure you take some pics from behind.

Cut a Hole the the Bed to access the Sending Unit & Strainer/Sock

I dropped my tank and I'm glad I did. It was a huge pain in the butt but when I did so I found out that lines where getting old so I replaced all of those. Now it's got the new sending unit and some nice new lines. Unfortunately now that the sending unit works I can tell it needs a new fuel...

Swapping in a rear Dana 70 or Corporate 14

You'd be surprised. My company gets deep discounts with motor freight carriers. PM me if you have one with 3:73 gears you want to sell and your zip code. I'll check to see how much to ship and you never know I may buy it!!

Swapping in a rear Dana 70 or Corporate 14

Hmmm. Man decisions decisions. I guess I'll wait around for a Corporate 14 full floater. I know me and I know I'll want the best I can get within reason. Now the 14 SF is good but the 14 FF isn't much more expensive and they are out there. I guess I'll wait. On the front if I can find a...
