    G749 preservation

Is that Canada Specific and M135 only? Do you need a different tarp or would this be for use with a M211 tarp? I never caught this before. Thanks

Gm 2 1/2 ton rear axle

I think the backing plate is the same?????? The piece that bolts between the drum and hub is different. See part "K" and part "N" on plowboy's previous post.

Count me and the mechanics in. I have not seen a GMC Deuce there the last 2 years. There will be one this year or there will be one along the road on the way...and it wont be green.

Gm 2 1/2 ton rear axle

The description on flipping the hubs was probably for the M35 axles. You will need to find a M135 and take some parts. If I remember right drums and backing plates.

All that plumbing under the hood

Good job on the brakes. It has always been my understanding the purpose of the air pack is to multiply the volume and pressure to each wheel cylinder.

    Fording Part Identification

About 2 years ago there was a complete kit on ebay that sold for 125. Gunfreak and I saved the pictures. The whole kit is very simple and would be easy to duplicate. I contacted the buyer and a couple other people who had kits, but no one would put in the time to allow me to make drawings or a...

All that plumbing under the hood

It was miserable. Yes, I could have saved money at any point by having it hauled, but that would have been giving up. I figured It had to be fixed either way and I was going to attempt to cut corners and "work it out" for months on the highway or later at home. The unanticipated negative was I...

Yes, several. Mr Gasket, Carter, and a Holley. I tried a return line with a regulator as well. Tried 12v off a single battery too. Spent a lot of money. Purchased the replacement and 100% satisfied. IF you would like to cut cost, you can find the correct one on ebay. Look for the correct...
