The tranny adjustment procedures are in the TM. Make sure that you only use 30 WT NON-detergent oil in it. Detergents will rot your seals. Other fluids may be superior, but unless you want a mobile oil slick.....

Like M109guy said, If it aint broke, don't fix it! The 302 is a good engine. The weak point was the tranny. When it ran fine, evertything was good. The inability to select your gear was a major PITA!. Years of experience, tought you how to get around the system, and operate the beast...

Robr sent me one of those gizmos. I am installing it right now. What a brilliant device! If I would have had one earlier, I probably would not have cratered an old and abused charging system. Many $$$ later, the truck is restored and running!

I don't know about the USA models, but the CF M-135-C and MLVW as far as I know were all canvas. Here is a 135 from CFB Petawawa. Our truck spent part of it's life doing this at CFB Chilliwack. It now just wows the kids on parades and leaks diff fluid on my driveway during the week!
