Yep, I had a flat. Went to my truck tire shop and had them replace the tube when he was done he heard a hissing sound and found a nail in the inside center duel. Dam good timing. Both repairs cost me 60 buck including tubes.:-D For the tie gage I bought a good stick gage made here in the U.S.A...
Not all things are a great deal. Have someone who knows this truck look at it. Its OK to pass on it if its in poor shape, another one will come along. It took a year for my hubby to find the right one for me even then we had to make many repairs for it to be road worthy.

I had the same isues with the last filter change and had to use the old gaskets. Thats why I ordered the spin on set from John. PS checks in the mail John.:wink:
I'm waiting for my next oil change to swap out the old canisters for spin ons.
The system seems easy and cleaner to change the filters and the filter technology is better too.
How well it's taken care of is the key to anything you drive. Maintenance is the key. You will find the first year you will be fixing the things that were missed or over looked in the routine maintenance. Fuel filers, oil change, 22 quarts two filters, not a small job. Radiator flush, 4 gallons...

The primary filter has a drain on the bottom. turn on the fuel pump open the drain and let the fuel drain out. On the secondaries there is a nut in the center crack...
