I have looked all over this site and on the internet and I still can't find if I need to do anything, to the drivetrain, if I where to get a 6 inch lift. I know I would have to get brake lines, but would I have to get some thing for the driveshafts or anything like that?
DevilMan96: I like that link that was the funniest thing I have seen all day.
K45: Thanks for the advice but the exhaust shop around me manly do ricers and I don't think they have brought any diesels in there.
Flighht2k5: Thanks for your opinion, I have a glasspack on my dodge and it sounds...
I don't feel like talking to my friends sometimes so that could be a good thing. If I had kids I would do the same to, I would feel really bad if I had made my kids have a hearing aid.
I have money set aside for mantnice and other goodies, I have had many things loud I have my limit. I don't want it just loud, I want it to sound nice.
Yes I know they are a piece of history, I want the lift and tires to fix the gear problem and for the look of it. I am not looking for something to big of a lift.
Yeah I love the sound of a diesel to but with out a turbo they sound different. Electric cut outs are expensive, to expensive for me. I will probably leave them alone a just worry about my lift and tires first.
It won't hurt it, what should I do with my money? When I get I am going to see what is sounds like before I do anything the exhaust, the first thing I am going to dos is get a lift and some 37s or 38s.
I don't care how much it makes the cab rumble, if I had to drive hundreds of of miles I would drive my car, is that why you are saying no to flowmasters and glasspacks?
Thank you, that helps me alot considering my dodge has a glasspack, I just didn't know if the diesel would make it louder. What would be the best muffler to put on a M1008?
Thanks for telling why the are bad, but it doesn't answer my question, how loud were your flowmasters and how far back where they? I don't have a truck yet I have to wait until next year to sell my other truck and maybe my car. I am just trying to figure out what to put on the truck when I get it.
Thanks, I listened to the videos but I would be alot better in person to hear it or if some one would tell me what would be to loud, and no one has told me what is bad about glasspacks, I have one on my gas dodge and I think it sounds great, I sw the video on youtube and it sounded good but I...
