Mission accomplished. Will get up some pictures hopefully tomorrow. Thanks to Tracy, Ed, Joshua for the turnout today. You guys really spruced up the place.
Jeff, please put me down for a really serious maybe. Mike E. wants to come and do the Vietnam display again and I am logistical support for his efforts. The M38A1 is currently down with technical issues. Most likely a timing or fuel issue. Hopefully it will be back up and on track by then...
See you then Mike. Be sure and check out the WW1 tent. Next year I will be focusing on WW2 for the 70th anniversary of D-Day Normandie and Bastogne, Batille des Ardenne.
I told them you were coming. The plan is to roll out as soon as all are there.
Here are a couple of pics from today's set up. The large wall is a recent addition to the collection and this is the first time it is out for public view. Makes a nice jeep garage.
Wanted to refresh this one. Tomorrow is the event. I had check in from Tracy, Ed P, Dan F. and Joshua T. Looks like 3 M35's, a Ural, and I am taking the GPW. The M38A1 isn't running right and I didn't have time to figure out what is wrong.
If you have questions, please call me this afternoon or...
It is exit 109, the Martin Way exit off I-5. They are planning on being there at 0730 with roll out at 0800. If you have other questions, please send a note or give a call 360 870 0706. Peter L.
Sounds good will keep you posted. On Saturday if you would like, there is a group meeting at the Lacey Park n ride at 0730 with a 0800 pull out to AFD at JBLM. You could meet some of the other folks and tag along with them and they know where they are going. I will probably be there a bit...
Wanted to get this on the calendar before too many found other things to do that day. This event has been going for several years now and is a way for the community to show support for the military families that are both here and the ones left behind due to multiple deployments. It gives them...
That is also Armed Forces Day at JBLM and many of us will be tied up there at almost the same hours. Hopefully those that are not attending JBLM will support this event.
Neat stuff Mike. We could have used you at Matlock today. We had 3 WW2 jeeps, 1- 1 1/2 ton Chev, WW2, a Chenowith Fast Attack, and a couple of other vehicles showed up, one being an unrestored M38A1 towing an unrestored M416. See you at AFD.

Hello Team, if you would like to join in, we will put on an historical display at Borst Park, Exit 82 on Interstate 5, from 0800 to1300. Then off to my house for a barbecue lunch. About 1500 we will form up for the local parade, which starts at 1600.
All eras of vehicles are welcome for this...

I stopped and talked with Aaron today. He does intend to get a thread going, but he has several projects on his plate right now.
If anyone is interested, the PNW USO will be hosting a dance at the MOHAI museum in Seattle on July 19th, 7 - 10 PM. It is free, but you must register. Look on...
Dan, I think the stuff at Lewis is going for just the right price. I have bid on several items and havent got them, so my wife is very happy. :) But I am coveting an 1101 trailer and it is depressing the price they bring out here and then see what they go for back east.
Talked with the lady today and they have 60 plus registrations for lunch next weekend. She got in touch with the Phillipine Scout group and they have 100 folks registered for their event. Hopefully we will be able to combine some of them in for lunch.
