The m246 I bought a while back showed up last week, and as expected it’s a massive project. So while that’s sitting we decided to swap the longer boom over to our m62 wrecker. Nothing was changed that can’t be undone, and it can be swapped back at some point if that ever needs to happen.
Welcome to the site. I use #1156 for the larger bulb and then #67 or 97 for the smaller one.
The m416a1 trailer came from the factory with the larger plastic composite taillights as those became the standard around 1970ish. The old style small taillights will still bolt up to your brackets...
Thank you.
I think I posted more pics of the LCVP earlier in this thread. I had a thread on it years ago but like my others it hasn't been updated in quite a while. We bought that in 2017 about 25 miles away, it was too cool to pass up. It was sold in 2019 and is now in Ohio I believe...
Thanks guys. The extra headache rack was brought home like that a couple years back. I was told the truck was cut up at a junkyard, someone had bought the winch and didn’t need the rack.
The yellow m108 bed we took off a Ford f600. It was bought for parts for the one that the engine is being...
It’s been a while for this thread. Nothing too exciting has been happening with the truck but it’s still being put to work lifting, winching, and towing.
Bumping this just to see if anyone's ever seen another one of these around. I never heard anything back from the manufacturer.
It's been hard at work sitting in the lean-to with a jeep trailer on it for winter storage.
Just checked the ones set aside for my m59, same pin I believe.
Not sure why the bag is marked chain for the one with the chain attached. I bought a pair on ebay and both are marked that way, unless I put them in those bags.
Thanks, my dad owns it. The boxes on it weren't too bad but I did weld in some new metal on one of them. The data plate is an NOS replacement marked m107a2, which I believe was the correct one for it. I'm pretty sure members have had repro plates made for these as originals can be tough to...
The boxes are welded just like you say yours is, at least on m107s I’ve seen.
The plumbing on this one was redone with non original parts, some from the later m149 series water trailers.
I guess my kit’s actually setup for a heater. I thought the pump itself was the same but someone else would have to confirm as I don’t have one in the yard anymore.
