One more thing to check is the rubber hose on the passengers side between the steel line from the tank and the steel line running forward. I had all kinds of trouble with fuel flow until I found that little rubber hose and replaced it. It let the fuel suck air. My truck is a M886 so it's a...
Here's some pictures on page two. I have more of under the truck but just haven't gotten around to posting them.

You should just buy a truck like the one I sold to a guy out your way. It has 4 tires, a 8' bed and is as short as a full size F-250. Since it has been modified you could call it a M-250. Unless the rules specify gross weight, I don't see a problem. Here's a picture to show what I mean.
I...
I was about to start a thread about this subject and ran across this one. I have not read the entire thread so I hope I am not asking a question that has been answered. But here we go:
I understand the EUC thing takes time.
I understand the auction is "selling the truck.
I also understand in...
I bought 5 395's there a few weeks ago and they didn't have much to chose from. They are hoping when the troops in the area come back from deployment they will start to have some again.
$50 a tire for pretty much anything. I did see some 11.00 xl's but I don't think they get a lot of NDT's...
I have not had time to read all the advise here, but I have some anyway:
DON'T DO IT
I know most of you won't agree, but from what I read from Luke, a hobby is something you don't want to get real involved in right now. I didn't finish college and now I make a decent living, but I have to...
That's why I asked. I don't like to take chances. I definitly will not be welding to my ring. I have bought weld on rings but the one's I can get will not go over the deuce or 5 ton hitches. Funny story:
I bought my first deuce in 2002. Drove my Jeep wranger to pick it up. Pulled my jeep up...
Yes (if it is weldable). I was just looking it over and my best bet might be to weld steel over it. That probably sounds odd. I'll post pictures after the fact.
In an effort to make the most of the surplus I have on hand, I want to use a lunnet (or what ever the official name is) from a scrapped trailer to make something, and I am wondering if any of you guys know if the steel these are make of is weldable? I know really hard steel can't be welded. Of...
If I may ask, could you provide more info on this subject. I plan to start calling people Monday and try to find out what is going on. I have read several threads with talk of this but no specific info on what the hold up is and who to call to make things happen. Heck, I don't even know what...
I would give it one week. I put 11.00 XL's on my first bob. The fenders look so empty. 14.5 or 395's would be nice. I won't put 14.00's on another one. I can't find any that are not old and rotted.
Just wondering if we have a ruff head count? I plan to be there several days and it looks like my wife and daughter will be there for a day or two. I am pressuring my brother to come down too with his two boys. I am even "inviting" my scout troop. It is doubtful those wienies will make it...
I always fax it over the next morning. 5:00 am on this last one on 8/13.

When it comes to prices, it's all in what you want for the tread. The tires we run on dump trucks are very expensive, compared to the used military tires with tubes. If you are buying new they will be pricey. The only real cheap will be used military tires. If you are wanting to run...
Here's a few facts as I understand them:
22.5" tires are VERY expensive.
6 lug wheels are hard to find. Most are 10 lugs as you have observed.
20" tube tires are dirt cheap. I will sell almost new tires, mounted on wheels for $50 each
Bud wheels are the type that are on M35's. They have...
I was told I could not drive it out of the gate the last time I picked up a vehicle. That don't mean you can't drive it off, but if you like to get along with people, I would figure on towing or hauling. Just my thoughts.
If you are serious about one, I plan to bob a couple as soon as I get them picked up. I have done a couple and $5000 is about what a real nice one is worth so you should be able to get it done. I sold my last one for more than that, but I had made a custom bed and put dual exhaust on it. PM...
It would only seem appropriate that my EUC would not clear before Labor day now aua.
I guess I shouldn't be looking for my paid invoice in my email for a few weeks. Just wondering though, if I have to remove my trucks with in 10 days of receiving my invoice, if on one is there to let me pick...
