    Any Deuce bobbers in GA?

There are a lot of us that do the bob jobs. I'm located above Columbia SC and have been planning on offering my services for such work when I have time. I would suggest you shop around and see who does the kind of job you like and then get some prices. Everybody does something different on...

    My step side Bob deuce

Well, I loaded the truck for the trip to New Mexico today. Slight pucker factor. I'll post some pictures of the exhaust and stuff after the new owner has it a few days. It just didn't seem right to post detailed pictures of his new truck before he had a chance to see it in person. A couple...

    SC MV bill

I, like you, think it is a load of hooie that a 67 F-100 cost almost nothing to tag and insure for the guy that will do the same thing with it that we will do with our bigger trucks. There is a big difference between a "commercial" truck and a hobby truck. I drive a commercial truck every day...

    WTH, Found a tank today.

I've never sank a tank, but I did sink an 20 ton excavator before. That was a bad feeling.

    SC MV bill

I don't want to rain on any parade here, but I think I should point out a few things. For the record, I would like special privileges for my MV's but I do fear this could be difficult. First off, and I reserve the right to be wrong, I'm getting old, tags are by weight and it irritates me to...

    Flat Black Deuce?

Am I the only one thinking the only thing hotter than a green deuce would be one in a color that absorbs even more solar heat? I drove a black car in high school and it was one hot machine in the sun. PS. The word hot used above is not "Pamela Anderson" hot. It's "don't touch the stove" hot.

    M7 Priest- Worth while?

The restoration is amazing. It makes me really want something like that now. I will have to be happy to get my half track on the road one day I guess. Those guys have a lot more money and time than I will ever have.

    M7 Priest- Worth while?

Well here's a video I made of the sextons at SECO a few years ago. Not a very popular video.

    M7 Priest- Worth while?

SECO did have a dozen Sextons a few years ago. Anybody know if they still have anything left. The last time I was there a few years ago most where gone. The ones left didn't have tracks and a new set of tracks would be very expensive. Back in 2002 you could get one complete with engine, tracks...

Dallas Mavis, anybody ever use these guys?

Will entertain any quotes on hauling. I looked around and couldn't find any place on here where potential haulers where listed. I do overlook stuff though. This is the "Bob" I put on ebay a week ago. It's about 11,500 pounds (estimate based on my other truck like this) and of course a little...

Dallas Mavis, anybody ever use these guys?

Not much to say after the title. The guy that bought my truck has a quote from these guys and I was hoping someone knows them and they are good honest people. Any thoughts? Also is it safe to load a 9' 2" high truck on a 40" high trailer? Thanks, Joe

    Transport from SC to NM

Hey fella's, I sold my bob deuce to a guy in NM and he is looking for a way to get it there. If you still need stuff moved from Columbia, I need this truck moved too. Let me know if you guys are still trying to move stuff and if you can help out. Thanks, Joe

    2010 aberdeen BS/for sale/who's going/when and where

So here's the question: Is it wise to drive a M886 500 miles to the rally? I say every time I go I will never drive that far again, yet I am now thinking it would be fun to just drive the old dodge up, eat some of Cabell's BBQ and just BS for hours. No bringing stuff to sell or worrying about...

    2010 GA Rally Food Service

I plan to be there this year and hope to spend a few days there. While I am thinking of it, if I remember and plan I can bring a couple hundred pounds of ice. I have a large ice machine. If it will save the group some money I can bring as much as I can find somewhere to keep it. I think it...

Mep 701a - fired them up today, what next?

I had a little time today and my father-in-law was hanging out with me, so I thought it would be a good time to check out the generators. I have two Mep 701a gens with fairly low hours. Had them a few weeks now. Any way both had no oil or fuel so I started with one and filled it up with oil...

try not to cry, i dare you...

So are we assuming the engine was pushed onto the axle and then transferred the load weight to the axle, then ground? One of you engineers figure up the energy required to do all that.

    My step side Bob deuce

I put a video on Youtube last night. It's just a shot of the tach and GPS but it show how it runs and you can hear it quite well too. Watch at your own peril. I will take some pictures of the exhaust and get them on here. It may be after the auction is over but I'll get them.

    My step side Bob deuce

I took the beast out for a ride last night and filmed the GPS and tach for a few shots. 0 to 60 in 23 seconds on flat ground. I thought that was pretty quick for a M35. I will post the video to youtube later. Cool sound.

can someone in SC look at a truck for me?

I hate to chime in here, but I actually suggested he get someone to look at the truck. I tend to be too honest about this kind of stuff, but have changed my personal policy on ebay stuff and I now point out all the good stuff, ask everyone interested to come look at the item and answer any...

    My step side Bob deuce

You know, if I had thought about it earlier, there was almost 6" between the cab and the bed, which would have been a great place for a monster roll back mounted directly to the frame. Maybe next time............
