Well, if sitting is bad on them, I will need to check out my parts truck and my M886 real good before I can let you know anything. I am sure both of thees trucks has been sitting a long time. What goes bad in them? I assume there could be some seal issues and maybe rust on the parts that where...
Well I just got back from Alma a little bit ago with $220 worth of 14.00's. Not bad thread. They had NEW looking tires (you know, still have teets on the tread) for $100 each. That's way I only took $200 so I wouldn't be temped to get the new ones. I'm cheap. They have those 16.00's starting at...
Those where trucks that came up between sale 3890 and the last couple I guess. I bought one at 3890 and didn't watch for a few weeks (no money, why look). I didn't realize there where any sold between 3890 and these last ones. Most out there have been good truck though.
Which truck did you get? I looked them all over and have a pretty good idea which ones will drive off the lot. Was it from sale 4047, 4080 or was it an earlier sale?
Just curious
Joe
I have a set and I am passing your way on my way up to Aberdeen for the rally. What are they worth? I had not planned to get rid of them in case I need some for my truck but I might.

Let me clearify (why won't spell check work for me?).
I think a lot of people make bad decissions about auction buying. I learned a long time ago, it's real easy to click a few keys and become the ower of a vehicle but paying for and picking up that vehicle is a little more involved. It burns...
I have been looking and not finding info on this shelter. I think it is for a HMMWV. I was wanting to find the dimensions for it. Anybody know what TM this is in or where I might find it. I looked around the TM's here but couldn't find one that had it (I could have over looked it, I've done that...
A couple of things,
I open the page this morning and there is the very truck I bid on yesterday. No I don't like it.
Next, where the hail is my SF-97 for the truck I bought last month. Come on guys, it's the frigin law to provide the thing here in SC. It's not that hard. If other "sponcers"...
There is a place in Alma that has them cheap. I hope to head down there this week or next. I know they have good used 14.00's for $50 each but the 16.00's like you have are more. Let me see if I can find the number.
Yep, here's the web site:

I'm glad to hear you guys got it out. Clint called me yesterday and I was up in NC on vacation with my wife. I called my brother, but it sounds like Mr. Waller took care of you before my brother could have. I hate I was out of town, Camden isn't far from the house and I didn't know there was any...
SECO in Augusta might have them. I know they used to modify and sell M114's.
SECO Reconditioned Army Military Trucks 2 1/2 Ton 5 Ton M35 M54 Cargo Fuel Water Dump Wrecker M123A1
You should come get that one you robbed the tires off of. I'm tired of looking at it :-P.
You guys down south should go to SECO if you want to see enough junk to make you sick. I have not been in a few years due to the economic down swing, but they have SO much stuff sitting around.
I am not trying to offend anyone, especially our new guy, but I have noticed a not of bobbed deuces with no rear mud flaps. Is that something a person can get a ticket for? I bet those big tires could throw a nice rock a 100 feet in the air at the right angle. I was sure to put some on my bobber...
Well the tires I posted a picture of are for sale.
1961 IHC BC 172 2.5 ton truck - Steel Soldiers::Military Vehicles Supersite
They are mounted on deuce wheels, 9.00 x 20, and they look new. I see no cracks. I'm sure they are old but they look good. I can send you a very big close up picture...
Nah, I sprayed it last monday. I forgot my camera and didn't get a chance for a piture until yesterday. It's nice to have a moble air compressor. I hope to tow bar it the 1.5 mile trip home in the next day or two. It's very hard to work on a project when you have to leave the house. You can't...
"She" has now accepted it but has not yet agreed to ride in it when I get it on the road. It helped that I put a couple of other things up for sale . It will be moved to the home lot from the storage lot this week which will allow the children to make this their new "play" house.
Have you...
It had a generator and all kinds of stuff mounted in it. They cut holes in both sides and built compartments. I plan to mount some doors over the holes and see what happens.
And I though the runs in the paint where part of the "vegitation" camo:grin:
