Crawl under and see where it came from, there's gonna be a clean spot the same size as the piece you found.
Should take you all of 30 seconds. ( Less time than it took to post your question)
No don't pound it in, IIRC it should have a spring clip in the shape of a C
Every Trans...

BRACKET TO FRAME 4X4
edit: not seeing a listing for the steering gear to bracket, and the diagram looks to be for a 2x4
usually just one alternator for what you are talking about. Any camper or trailer place would have install kits for a second battery.
The M882 originally had 3 batteries, two on a large tray on the passenger side that were kept charged by a 28v generator which was mounted low on the drivers...
Like last year, I've put together a calendar of sorts for Michigan area MV events.
Each vertical column has the Saturday dates for that month.
If I missed any event let me know & I'll update it.
Brackets on back are Not military.
M882 is a radio truck w/28v generator, looks like the bed has been changed, the M882 had 3 antenna mount locations on the bed, and clips on the the inside of the bed for the antenna wires.
Looks standard ride height to me.
I may have a NOS front bumper, NOS...
Yep, I enjoyed it (except for the errors, only a few of them)
Funny, I was standing up flipping through the mag, until I spotted the M880 pics!
Then it was sit down & read time.
Hard to tell for me ( color/ monitor / blocked view)
but back when these were new. they would typically have been painted a 4 color MERDC
pattern.
my Dodge is painted the "Winter Verdant" IIRC
34079 forest green
30118 field drab
37030 black
30277 sand
same truck, same paint different lighting...
Next Saturday People!!!!!
Let's see a big crowd.
Come on up and throw your hat in the ring for 1 of the 4 board positions up for grabs!
Not a member, for whatever reason? Join up and make you desires heard!
Without member input we are just guessing what everyone wants.
fixed the red x issue.
a setting got changed when I installed Malewarebytes that blocked .png images
(Should I call my ISP and tell then to quit refering to my 256kDSL as high speed ? )
tried again with the 2nd IE8
It does come up but takes about 2 minutes
I just keep using Firefox now that IE8 works less & less on here.
Well at least until I can't use Firefox either.........
2nd test post different IE8
edited & cannot add a pic, clicking Manage Attachments does nothing.
Well at least I don't get the red x's with firefox..........................
2nd edit using 1st instance of IE8 to add the pic
51-2260 or nsn 2590-01-163-9703 for the M886/893
