Nevermind..........................
pic of the one Kenny found
hmmm....
things have changed
all of what I have had the payload capacity has been greater than the 1500, 2500, 3500 badging, (or at least very close to) I was going by the 2575 lb payload on the data plate
It's good I learned something new today!
A 2000??
Guess the 4 door long beds took a couple years to catch up with the 1999 body style change.
It's only a 2500! I would have guessed they would have been 3500's.
Neither of the above items reduce the cool factor though
100 posts.
you were at 24 & have 76 to go. posts include replies in threads that you did not start.

I believe the idea was to limit the people signing up to place ads only.
IMO a 90 day waiting period may have been a better way to do that........
Since...
Several trucks here, never really felt an issue going from 1st to 2nd. ( It's a truck not a sports car)
I firmly believe the number one cause of trans failure is starting out in 2nd gear high range.
It is also hard on the clutch.
Your results may vary...........
Can't understand why the schools in England don't teach US Air Force acronyms.......................

The wires that went to the amp gage need to be hooked up.
but first, 18v seems excessive and may be what fried the gage in the first place, it should put out 14v
I say scuff the carc and lay down a couple coats of high build primer, block it down, apply a coat of sealer and spray your strata blue.
Obviously stripping down to bare metal is best for any overall paint job. but these are military trucks not show cars.
Am I the only one that wonders what got the temp up to 220°?
I don't think I've seen any of mine go past 165°, even on a couple hour run in the middle of August.
every state is different, Here in the Great Lake State, progressive will not insure a deuce.
anything over 10k and or more than 6 wheels must go through their commercial division.
The comercial division will not insure former military vehicles.
Now, just because an agent sells you a policy...
Ok
1st pic my M884 plow / work truck
these springs were bad and had minimal clearance from the bump stop from years of plowing, so I added an "add a leaf" from JCWhitney to support the extra weight. the extra leaf is the 2nd from top.
2nd pic my M882 parts truck
original wore out springs...
Stock hubs should do ya fine then
here's another of ours my kid with 33 x 11.50's
