Wish I had the steel and a lathe!
Screw the adapters. Make new hubs with the hemmt bolt flange.
I can't understand why I haven't figured that out until just now :cookoo:
Ya! because hiring a hit man is illegal!
Seriously though your wife should be proud of you.
The adapter idea sounds plausible,
those mrap rims look hub centered
deuces are lug centered.
Your adapter will need to be stepped as patracy suggested above
If you go with bolt together adapters...
I did one parade Saturday, Made plans for only one parade today due to published parade times, I couldn't do both.
Sadly due to the wrong time being put out there (2 different sources) I missed both oppourtunities today :x
Sorry no pics as I was behind the wheel.
A 1 1/2 ton is a M105
the M101A2 is a 3/4 ton.
Now if a M105 takes the same as a rim Deuce you have some options.
ODDAVE has some 16 x 6 one piece rims that will fit a deuce hub (without brake drum)
Have it shipped.
To tow it behind anything, it needs to be enclosed.
thanks for your 8 yrs
about the time I turned 45, I started to question my wisdom of getting out as soon as I could. pension and health benefits would be nice.......
If an EUC is required for that auction , the requirement will be in plain site near the bottom of the auction listing.
As Chief said above, there is a difference between the invoice and the "PAID IN FULL" invoice.
Here's an auction that just closed for a M101A1 trailer and the EUC is required...
GM also has a 9.5 inch 14 bolt used in 2500's
The dually 1028's all had dana 70's out back.
The "locker" is also the ring gear carrier, so no you can't be swapping it to other size units.
Hey Gimp,
I want one of the bottle jacks for my deuce. I don't think I'll be able to make it down though. (dagnabit!)
I can send payment, if you can hand off the jack to Eric aka 319.
Yep if he would have / could have brought them today he would have gone home with extra cash!
No biggie, we'll just have to meet up & trade wheels & cash.
Heading out to PMCS the M880 for an early am southbound departure.
If you are interested in M880 stuff,
post your wants/needs tonight & I'll load the stuff in the truck.
Otherwise I will have minimal stuff to sell with me.
Talked to the wheel wanter today.
He just needs the center sections to put into some tractor wheels.
Don't have to be riveted wheels.
He has a source to get plates mades for $30 ea, but is trying to go cheaper!
I've seen high asking prices also.
Selling prices, well................
A used M880 grill is worth what a cheapskate M880 owner will pay for it.
I got $20 for one a couple years ago.
