While the 1400's are taller than the 395's
the 395's are about 1 1/2" wider than the 1400's
I have been told that the 1400's on stock rims rub less than the 395's on stock rims, on the front axle.
So far the biggest tires I have put on a deuce are 1100R20's .......................
Kinda sounds like combustion pressure leaking into the coolant system.
If it transfers coolant to the overflow tank when it is still cold it is likely a head gasket.
Gillespie Coatings from Rapco Parts lists
# 25045 US Airforce Strata Blue ( post #2 above may be a typo)
Haven't used the Gillespie semi gloss Stata Blue, (yet)
my trucks are painted with the Gillespie enamels.
used machine tool coolant = mostly water and machining fines
unused machine tool coolant = water soluable (most anyway)
I would not put a water soluable oil in my tank.

Welcome to the M880 world, lots of info in the M880 forum here
'44 GPW skid plate
M880 skid plate
bracket to support M35 passenger seat when a spring ride driver seat is installed.
canvas soft top for M35

Shear pins for Deuce winch

I've toy'd with the idea of making a quad cab with one of those 'short' M35 beds.
The 109/185 body would be cool, you'll have to do something about the wheel opening location though.
an M820 expansible would be sweet, but would be alot of work to make that into a quad cab.
The vin won't work for the typical insurance computer system.
go visit your agent with a picture of an A3, go over how you intend to use it with him,
Insurance laws vary by state, I.E. Gieco and Progressive in Michigan do not insure former MV's or anything with more than 2 axles.
Some may sell...
If a dealer they should handle all the paperwork and a title should be sent to you.
Buying from a dealer, you should not have to go to the DMV, they do.
but hey, it's your money.
Get a SAE belhousing from an old C70 Chevy and bolt the 454 to the 5spd overdrive that's in there.
I would really like to do this myself, just heard stories of 4mpg, now if it would get 10 mpg :cookoo:
Sorry, I know next to nothing about disk brake kits
I have seen the installation of a lock out hub on the back axle.
The owners tells me it made a world of difference in the ease of turning.
Most of the scrubbing is due to both axles being tied together.
You can remove the rear drive shaft to test this out before spending money.
