Hi Rustystud:
Air dryer is fixed with rebuild kit. Working great. Lots of water has been reduced to a very fine mist. The truck is fully operational now. Just one mire question about the crank case breather. There's an elbow, facing the front of the truck, which is a air line fitting. The elbow...
Okay. Thank you, I'll try the Teflon. Where does the CTIS system draw its air from? I thought it may draw air from the air filter intake near the muffler, so I've been wrapping the air filter intake/ compartment with a plastic garbage bag when the vehicle is not in use.
Thanks, Jeffval
I ordered the rebuild kit and filter. This truck should be fully operational by
I ordered the filters and rebuild kit for the air dryer. In the meantime I've been starting the truck and draining the air tanks. I don't understand why water keeps coming out of the right side air tank, especially...
I've got a M35a3. It only has 6000 miles on it and has been sitting in a garage since 1993. After shutting off the engine, i released the air from the air tanks. I noticed about 1 cup of water coming out of my right side air tank after I released the valve. The other 2 tanks just had a fine...

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes I plan on using Dexron this time. After reading the manuels, I see where the shop failed. They just went forward and reverse and through the gears. In the manual it says to put the parking brake on and Rev to 1500 rpms for one minute once the temp is up to 160 and...
Hello. Thank you for your reply. When it had 2 1/2 quarts too little and when I tried to get up to speed while getting on the interstate it struggled it was lacking in power through 1st and second gear then it wouldn't go any faster and made a "Wooooing" noise. Then I walked it up to speed...
Hi. Thanks for your reply. The guy drained the transmission and the torque converter. He used 15w 40 oil and poured it in the dip stick tube. He brought it up to operating temperature and went through all the gears including reverse several times. I have read some of the TMs. I have 2 manuels...
I've got a 1982 model m35a3 that was upgraded in 1993. It has 6000 miles on it and is in excellent shape. I took it to a lube shop to have all the fluids changed. They filled the transmission with oil from the top fill tube inside the cab. They did not use a pump from the bottom. When I got home...
