The 6.2 diesel has nothing at all to do with the earlier 5.7 diesel which was derived from an Oldsmobile 350. I would not want anyone that thought the CUCV 6.2 motor was an Olds engine near it.

The dump has 2 way cylinders, pushes up and pulls down. You need to engage the pto by pushing in the clutch and moving the lever all the way forward, let clutch out gently, lever forward to raise the dump and rearward to lower it.
