The tires aren't 22", they are 22.5" tires, tubeless radials. The problem is that the wheels are only 7" wide or so. If looking for a wide tire option, this probably isn't the wheel for you. Also, you can't run them tandem unless you make a set of spacers.

The stiffeners inside and outside of the bed as well as the additional metal on the top rail was made after the lifting rings were added. The beds without the modifications had a tendency to fold up when the trailers were lifted.
