Sorry for the late response. To answer a few....
the manual I posted is more of an operator manual
electrical and wiring diagrams are really not available to the average joe. You need an Oshkosh laptop, which we had in the Marines, to really diagnose any real issues. The days of fixing stuff...
Don't be surprised if you learn things are done like that out of sarcasm, to catch your eye for that reason. Tons of soldier/Marine humor out there that would only get a grin or a smile from those who know. Inside jokes, kinda like Blue Falcon.
if you want to get a unique 7 ton, then this is the one. It has a MH crane boom on the rear. This 7 ton is specifically used for loading and unloading the HIMARS rocket pods. The trailer is unique to it as well.
On another note. I get hit up occasionally for more maintenance manuals for the 7 tons which I don't mind. However, sad to say, what I posted in the TM section is all of what I had on disc/paper. I got the disc right before everything went to the maintenance laptops and the cloud crap.
All of our trucks (and equipment) in the Marines are identify by serial number and the UIC (unit identification code). That code translates to a Marine Unit. For instance, my unit's UIC was 514301 - 14th Marines, HQBTRY. The Marine Corps uses a Corps wide maintenance tracking system GCSS...
I've been holding off on posting these because these trucks were only in the Marines/Navy's inventory. Now that ISIS has been seen running around with them along with other equipment and we now surplus them.....all bets are off. Semper Fi!

I posted a lot of common parts and part numbers in the thread above. Title is mis-leading, it should be part numbers and not filiter numbers. Sorry. However, check here first and you might find what you are looking for.
On the newer trucks they have catwalks behind the cabs rather than just an open area with an exposed drive shaft. makes a nice place for the driver and A driver to put their personal gear.
I have plenty of others from every angle of the truck including interior. Also, the boarding ladder is typically left stowed on the tailgate even though it is removable. Side racks are stowed in the center of the bed underneath. the tailgate is moved forward and attaches to the forward...
I will post some interior and under hood pics this evening. Had the computer on the side of the cat motor go bad for the first time on a rebuilt 7 ton. Very disappointed.
