    quad 50's won't rotate

The thread would be too long to explain the workings of the quad mount to post here. When you have time call me tomorrow at 504-7284610. I will be glad to give you the low down. Do a search on quad mount in Steel Soldiers and you will find a lot of good threads on rebuilding one. I did mine...

    M939A2 Radiator Fan

I thought mine was broken too. It will not kick on with just idling and casual driving. You need to really WORK the truck to have it kick on. Put a load on it.

    My new M936A2 project (update)

It makes sense now Chris. When I recieved the truck, everything was disconnected from the tranny including the drivesaft thrown in the back of the bed. The tranny was on held on by3 bolts to the motor. Also the cover plate for the PTO access area on the side of the tranny was on only hand...

    My new M936A2 project (update)

Update and News Flash! Worked on the wrecker this weekend and after taking the exhaust system apart, I then realized that in order to put the tranny PTO on, the tranny needs to come out or least disconnected from the motor in order to allow enough room to put the PTO on the side of the...

    CARC Scratches

CARC paint scuffs easily - bottom line. We have new 7 tons, HUMVEES, tailers, we get all the time and it starts to get scuffed the second the first driver hops in the seat of the truck. That is the nature of the beast. If you do not like this aspect of using the "real deal" I suggest using...

Looking for a lead on Wrecker Vises.

Naturally when I got my M936A2, someone had made sure to liberate the vise off the front bumper. I assume the M816 had the same vise as the M936. Anyone has a lead on some military vises for the wreckers?

    m936A2 brakes slowly lock-up...what gives?

Unfortunately my air brake knowledge is not as sharp as the pencil I use at work. While finally being able to drive the M936A2 wrecker, after about 5 minutes of casual driving, the rear (and just the rear) brakes began to drag until they finally immobilize the entire truck from totally...
