And I am Very, very, very, and more very happy for you and all those in the Great State of PA. Now if you can only move them closer to me. :)

GL ads disappeared...did I miss something?

Like we didn't see that happening. Can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Or they figured out what we knew all along. That they are the only source for surplus trucks and they don't need to advertise.

    m925 a2 series etc

I like this nice healthy discussion of 900's. However, I can't comment on the performance of an A2 model. Hopefully that day is coming soon. I can tell you this though, the A2 is going to hit you a lot harder in the pocket book for parts. I only wish their were more commonality between the...

    m925 a2 series etc

Re: RE: Re: RE: m925 a2 series etc Ask Craig how much he has invested in his A1 model. I bet it is over 20k and it is an A1 model with no winch.

    My take on the M35A3

Kind of like the M-14 rifle. Short lived and not appreciated until years later. Didn't know you had a good thing until its gone. Now look, it is consider one of the best rifles ever made. Typical Army.

    My take on the M35A3

For the going price of 10k or more I wouldn't be bobbing anyone soon.

    2 batteries instead of 4 !

Even the Marine's new 7 tons only use 2 batteries now. They have places for four batteries but only use two. The manual says only use four if extreme cold weather conditions are expected. To get to the point, I only use two batteries in my 5 tons. Works fine, its cheaper, and less to go...

    My take on the M35A3

David, The truck pictured in your book looks like a 800 series 5 ton that went thru the ESP. That looks like a bad a s s truck. Too bad the Army didn't go through with it.

    Hummermax pics

How about some pictures of the Diamond T??? If it is what I am thinking, a 969A is a rare truck.

    Hummermax pics

Those halftrack M16 tool boxes love to hold water and dirt. I am always cleaning mine to prevent rust. I sure do like the way your country demils weapons. Are demilled weapons easy to come by? Do you have a radio set in the M16? If so, do you have a picture of it?

I wish my M2's were as nice as yours.

What type of camo is this?

As a side note, it is usually the squadrons commander's aircraft that has the fancy paintings on them. Not just anyone flies those aircraft except the commander of the squadron.

    Spotted these yesterday...

I'm not too sure about that.

What type of camo is this?

The Marines did this with an F-18 and I met the Gunny who did it. i look bad as, however, as time went on and parts were replaced, it was hard to keep up with the paint pattern. It was done more of a OH Rah kind of thing and not for practicality.

What type of camo is this?

You are absolutely correct. I was just talking from a cosmetic point of view which doesn't make any sense from a tactical point of view.
