    Is this even legal?!

I looked at the posting of effected vehicles and lot 4960 item 6847 is not on the list. Still, I would not touch this auction with a ten foot pole.

    105a3

Williams is very proud of their land gear legs. When I first got my trailers and made contact with them. The price I was quoted was over $500. I'll stick with my modifications to the existing jack or purchase one of these. Trailer Parts Superstore - BULLDOG 2k Bolt-On Trailer Jack #151443 or...

    105a3

I have two of those trailers and they are in my opinion, a lot nicer than the a2 versions. Plus with using a tubeless radial tire they tow realy nice on highway . You got the only one with the jack, atleast that's what the pictures showed. The landing gear leg on your trailer is missing, as...

    A3 Rims

A quick search of the classified section shows a set of A3 wheels for $2250. A little too rich for me, but you asked.

    M105A3 trailer tailgate pics needed

Without having my camera handy, here is the ladder on my M105a3 trailer. If I get a chance in the next couple of days I'll take some better pics.

?why does a m816 have canvas stake holders

Out of curiosity, what does it cost to put license plates on a M816 per year? With fuel cost being double of US prices I'm surprised that there is such a strong following of all things military, especially US Military vehicles.

    Allison TX 200-6 Question

Thanks for the answers Tom, but the M35 would have five ton under pinnings not the 2 1/2 ton axles. Overall length of the transmission is 51" and since the transfer case is included in this length it should fit if my measurements are correct. I have a local contact at J&T that does both...

    Allison TX 200-6 Question

Are you sure about that? I hope that you are right as this will save me about $1600. I purchased a MD3070PT with plans of using it behind an International DT466E engine. Not sure if it's going in a M35 or a five ton. The Allison tech manuals talk about having to program a ECM for the...

Winching under & to the rear

Since you are already a hole deep, why not pull the cable off the winch, remove one mud flap and wrap the cable around the rear wheels, and pull yourself out? I imagine that a local towing company wants a small fortune to even give it an attempt.

    Brakes, A Puzzlement

Crack brake line at the master cylinder and see if the cylinder pumps fluid.

    Need help with NHC-250 cummins

An internal leak in the IP (bad seal) will cause fuel to leak into the engine since that is the path of least resistance. I'm not sure of exactly how much fuel pressure the IP puts out (1500-2000 psi is common), but any small leaks will turn into a large leak in short order. Once you get your...

    Need help with NHC-250 cummins

No problem. The IP operates at high pressure so if you have any leaks in the system it will be fuel getting to the engine oil not engine oil getting to the fuel.

    Need help with NHC-250 cummins

Probably years of crud and corruption in the IP and fuel lines that's getting flushed out by running the engine. If you get fuel in the motor oil then I would worry.

New rust protection for deuce this year

Do a search for Daubert Chemical company and a product that they manufacture (TECTYL 511M) to Mil-Prf-16173 type 1 grade 5. It's removable via steam, is easily applied and costs about $30 per gallon.

    Deuce driving in snow

Nice Canuck truck. I like the marker lights and the roof rack, the two piece wheels, and the tire tread that they are using. And I really like that high mount winch. Looks like they learned much faster that the US did about what tires worked and what tires didn't.

    Prices Deleted from ads... WHY?

If the price just disappears from the price field but still remains in the body of tyour ad, try inserting the price without using the $ dollar sign. I don't know why, but of the ad's that I have posted if I used the $ dollar sign in the price field once I viewed the ad the price was gone.

    GL wants my Deuce back

I'm not worried one way or another. You want something that I purchased at auction? Show me the money!

    GL wants my Deuce back

[/LIST]My question about being required to turn in a vehicle once Uncle Sugar wants it back is: What if I have completely rebuilt the vehicle, installed new tires and wheels then repainted the vehicle? How do you assign a price for these services or parts? Nothing in the above quoted paragraph...

I wonder why they pulled all the m35a2s

When I was down at Jacksonville (Blount Island) a few weeks back they had thousands of trucks awaiting shipment overseas. I have never seen as many armored vehicles in one place in my life as I saw there. Everything from armored Humvee's, to the newest Oshkosh 7.5 ton trucks, hundreds of new...

Anybody mount a snow plow on their deuce?

My local ANG base has been using OshKosh trucks with plows for years for snow removal. Just because it's supposed to be "green" dosen't mean that support vehicles are.
