loose belt
sounds like the belt loosened up as it set in the pulleys.....
Do the deflection test and see how it feels.
Can't help on the pump leak, as I haven't experienced yet.....
The business end is the other one
I looked at my seat release and noticed the same as you. I took the thing apart and put it back together at least twice without any better performance and then I thought what if the problem was at the at the seat release and the pushbutton was correct...
TM -34P shows 2 part seal
Page 3-1 in -34P shows item 7 as a two part seal, so looks like the method I mentioned will work.....
I dig up the article and post it in here.
I realize the 6.2 is probably a little heavier than the 350 that the article mentions but still sounds doable for a weekend...
seal is failing.... won't heal itself
I recently found an article about changing the rear main seal without removing engine from vehicle. The article was for a civvy model C30, but I think the concept would be the same.
Don't remember where I saw it, but will see what I find.
In a nutshell it...

Hate to do this, but read the TM......

I think the -34? the Direct Support (DS) TM will detail the correct procedure to remove the crank pulley and balancer.
The balancer...
I don't have anything but bare metal in mine and I've never noticed excessive heat. It's been 90+ the last week or so and I drive it during the heat of the day on the weekends.
I'm gonna put a temp probe on the sheetmetal next time I drive and see what I get.....
Nice looking truck.

Too many variables to get a "quick" diagnosis, but do what CUCVCAN suggests.
If you have not changed the fluid and filter since you bought the truck its always recommended. Unless you have maintenance records showing when it was changed.
The CUCV's trans cooler is adequate for the truck and...
Oops.... put a tee fitting in at the transmiter location as the idiot light is good thing..... just incase you aren't actively watching the gauges during your drive..... or you lend the truck or ........ The truck has made it this far with the light, so it's pobably a good idea to keep ALL of...
Look at the TM!!!![thumbzup]
There is a oil pressure transmitter at the rear of the block on the drivers side. I suggest however you go with an electrical gauge. The chance of getting a hot oil bath from a failed oil line run into the cab is not a good thing.
Wanted to be the first to say it.
For all of you that have served or are currently serving THANK YOU!!!
