RE: trailer
Scrap metal (Tin and Junk Metals) just went up over here. It's now $245.00/Ton as of this past Friday at the scrap yard my company takes metals to. Just thought I'd post that tid bit of info. 8)
Anyone have any ideas on when the next Fontana Run will be? I just got my Deuce up and running and want to bring my newly acquired M105 (Thanks MHB285!). Also, have a new guy to introduce. He stopped by my shop this week and was asking a few questions. He just got a 5-ton and will be driving...
Ahhh... Found the problem. Opened up the switch today to take a peak inside. My switch is brand new, so I was kinda wondering why I already was having a problem. Anyways, found 2 of the contact levers that needed to be bent up a tad. (Lost its arch and wasn't riding on the cam all the way.)...
I just got a M105 from another SS member about a week or two ago. Paid $250.00 for it. All the bows and gates were there. Master cylinder was dry and I think the diaphragm leaks a little. Also, 3 of the 12 pins on the harness keep pushing back into the plug. (Trying to solve that issue...
Same here. Both our M35's and my M105 Trailer all had little to no fluid in the MC when I got them. Poured in new fluid and pressure bled them. All 3 now work awesome. Give that a try first. Be sure to use DOT 5 Silicone Brake Fluid (The Purple Stuff.) BTW - once you get some fluid in it...
RE: trailer
Just looking for info on my trailer that I bought from mhb285. Trailer looks really good. Gotta go through the brakes though. The trailer wiring harness plug is faulty. It works, but 3 pins or so push back into it and from what I hear, its not repairable. Got a new one on the...
Check out Saturn Surplus on the web. Jay usually has those I believe. I think he also sells the conversion wiper arm that accepts a standard wiper blade that you could get at your local auto parts store. I have the upgraded wiper blades/arms from him and they seem to work very well.
I've got a 6" extension and a cheapo 3/4" Drive electric impact gun from Harbor Freight (Chicago Electric with 450 Ft Lbs Torque) that works very well. Only problem is that its really heavy after you've done a few tires. I'd always use the impact because doing it by hand takes forever. Cheers!
Check ebay, Napa, Harbor Freight. Also, Houdel (a SS Member - Hope I got the spelling right) was selling them too. Prices range from on average $15 to $65 bucks. There's plenty of them out there.
I've got a brand new spare one if you need it. $10.00 for the socket (3/4" Drive x 1-1/2" Hex x 13/16" Square for both inner and outer lug nuts) plus postage USPS Priority or Parcel Post (Your Choice) and PP Fees and it's yours! [thumbzup]
I'd almost say that your S.O.L. :(
Don't think you can get just the plastic piece to sew back onto the top. May have to fork out the coin and get a new one. Wish I could be of more help.
BTW - Trying posting without the Caps Lock. Seems like your screaming...
Well, ladies and gents, I found the problem. It's the turn signal unit on the steering column. If I push the lever all the way up until it stops, then I have right harzard signal along with the left. If I let the lever rest in its normal position, then no Right Hazard Flasher. So, that's the...
I was thinking something like that, but this is/was a new turn signal unit. The arm goes up, pull the lever out and go up again to the hazard position. I've even jiggled it around to see if maybe a loose connection. Frusterated and getting no where, I looked at the CAD Drawing that I found in...
Okay, here's the deal. My rear wiring harness on my M35 was shot. So, I pulled it out, cut off the metal 8 Pin & 12 Pin Connectors and made my own new wiring harness. Not really all that difficult. So, I grab my trusty TM and wire it per the schematic. I also added 2 addional wires for...
