These title laws are very unlikely to revert . My personal solution was to get my LMTV registered and titled as an RV from the beginning. I believe that secures it in most any state if I chose to relocate.

My TOAD is a Samurai. Simply unhook and drive it if you're in a location requiring backing up. Ive been on plenty trails where backing up with anything hitched to the rear isnot advisable, hence my choice of a driveable TOAD.

Until you have a box with the required components most states wont let you change to RV title. Some CO people have titled elsewhere, there's extensive posts regarding that. I was lucky in getting an RV title from the S97 because the M1079 was listed as a van body.
