    My M715 'rework' project

. Agreed. Spent a little bit of time this afternoon out in the yard - cranking trucks and taking them around the block. It is definitely sunny, with clear blue sky. It wears on you. Huffing and puffing up and down...

    Looking to Purchase an LMTV

. What are the pros & cons of owning an M1078? - They are the newer military vehicles. 4 wheels rather than 6. Easier driving. If you can get an A1 you might be better off. Are there any common issues with them? Like planetary gears, electrical, etc? Not really. Especially if the current...

    Water in trans fluid

. I don't think it would be radiator fluid. Should be easy enough to spot if it is... I would definitely drain the transmission. Sooner rather than later.

    Water in trans fluid

. Well... It gets water from "fording" most likely. If the vehicle hasn't been started, maybe you can drain the oil and water and recover. The bad part is that oil floats on water. OR the good part is that oil floats on water - if you don't have much. The problem is that the disks that are...

    Re-introduction

. It might also be a good thing for you to download the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your new to you truck. Congratulations on installing the turbo. As the weather cools off you might need to be sure to read up on starting the beast in colder weather. The Dash 10 (-10) book will help you a...

    M-1097 R1

. Yes Sir! And it looks like the girls are excited about dad's new toy as well! Be sure to download the manuals. Especially the -10 (the operators guide). Did you know that you need to turn on the switch and wait until the light turns off? AND did you know that if the truck doesn't "catch"...

Clutch grabs, releases, grabs, releases when engaging. Hydraulic clutch modification?

. Another question for you is with the hydraulic clutch - Did you bleed the system? Almost like you push down on the peddle a little less or more because their is air in the system?

FLU419 SEE HMMH HME Owners group

. I was told - way back in the day - that the Acetone and ATF is a 50/50 Blend. Also called Weasel Pi$$ for one reason or another :)

    Load shedding?

. Well, unless you are taking baths and running hot water all day - The breaker for the water heater should be off 23 out of 24 hours a day. The water heater is the storage tank for 50? gallons of water. Maybe turn it on twice a day? An hour should recover the heater for sure... .
