    That’s impossible, the vent on an m998 before the mods were done would contaminate the closest geared hub and maybe the front diff. After the mods to the vent system, the excess fuel is sent back to the fuel tank filler neck in an isolated vent line dedicated the fuel pump vent.

    This is a known issue and the newer production mounts have supposedly fixed the premature failures. The body mounts on you’re truck are probably 15yrs or older.

    Start by opening up the filter housing…bring fresh diesel and a 5 gal bucket, you need to validate you’re assumption and go from there. worst case, buy a quick inline filter and bypass the OEM canister, this way you have some level of filtration. Also very well is the inside of the injection...

    Right, but that’s only where it plugs into the actual TPS, the other plug is at the back of the motor where it connects the engine harness to the body harness and ultimately lands at the TCM plug.

    The M number is the assigned unit number…on Hmmwv’s it’s on the rockers and tailgate, the problem is on the armored trucks is the Rocker armor is removed during Demil.

    Your truck was not IED’d and rebuilt, that’s not something they do to rolling stock items like Hmmwv’s and trucks, Aircraft and Ships are repaired when economically feasible. A truck that’s damaged in county is scrapped…not returned to CONUS.

    have you tried to move the fuel cut off armature with your finger while the cover is off? Does it “effortlessly“ move and spring back on its own? ANY resistance will deny fuel….
