Replaced the PCU with one from a working CTIS - from NV555. Also installed the new Purest air dryer. CTIS flashes all 5 until wet tank switch closes, then goes to solid HWY. Pressing SAND the mode light comes on but nothing happens, same as before the PCU swap.

M1078 looking for complete door assembly

I ended up making my own linkage rods, those seem to be impossible to find. If you help with that part send a message.

M1088 Cab Air Suspension rebuilt-wow, what a difference!

Storage as in not functioning? I have the CTIS PCU out right now so can't do much till that is fixed. Basically asking if this is the operating or lowered position of the pin. This truck was shipped from Ft Carson to MN forestry and never used so it's been like this for years.

    Repair kit for CTIS PCU?

I found a sticking poppet valve under the Supply solenoid upon teardown of the Pressure control unit. The cup seal at the bottom was also dried out. Can any of those parts be found? I looked in the TM and didn't see a breakdown on the PCU.

    Continental hcs 14r20?

I have found 2 places - CA & NY that list the Conti HCS 14R20... my reasons for that choice are A) Newer currently made tire B) Bigger but not a 53" C) Not found that they have issues. I would consider newer Goodyears or Michelins in the 14R20 but those seem hard to find except in older take-offs.

The problem with 2 coils reading to the same pins is you don't know if both are good, or which is bad.

Well, back OT... while my new fan clutch hose is being made. I removed the PCU from the truck to find it dusty but no sign of oil etc. Removing the cover revealed a pristine unit. Proceeded to test the solenoids but was a little confused at the markings in the plug not matching the schematic...

Not sure that I agree. Under "current conflict vehicles" there are a number of "folders". It would simply require adding a "CTIS" one.

Tennmogger, Thanks for the additional info. Its interesting that you mentioned the fan clutch since I heard a new air leak yesterday when just turning power on, but not starting. Turned out the last motorpool guy had tightened the bottom fitting so the hose was rubbing. It finally wore...
