Replaced the front Gladhand checkvalve - yes!! Working parking brake now.
Troubleshooting CTIS. Took front QRV apart to diagnose it.
And finding other minor things wrong :-(
Some motorpool wrench tightened the bottom fitting till the hose rubbed the pulley....

For the benefit of Science, and since I found a reasonable priced replacement on fleabay, I decided to disassemble the front QRV.
Basically it is nothing more than a differential pressure valve with a rubber flapper in between the upper input pressure and the vented chamber into which the 2 hub...
Is the poppet supposed to move in these valves? My LMTV has a Midland-Grau QRV that is all plastic and has no hose connection or tube outlet. Removing the inlet fitting shows what appears to be the poppet but it is not movable....
With respect to your need for a 16' box, some have stretched the frame, others have built the box past the frame with an angle at the bottom.
As an FYI, once you go past the original 20' OAL your costs for any ferry trip.
