Looks great!! I'm not sure but some old cars used the high beam to ground the dash bulbs to light up...some LEDs let it through while some don't...I'm not sure if that's how these work, can't remember...on other points I put LEDs in my truck and everything works...who knows...shouldn't be that...
Gotta ask how to find your stuff....Pause...lol....nice....not easy to find...I don't see the parking brake pads....found the tow bar...maybe a trip up is best!!
That's no joke there about prep...it took a few tries to get the process right with the por15...bought a gallon of the soap and etching fluid from them...we had one set that he did and it completely pealed off in one big chunk...he was not happy...he sands and grinds them down to bare metal as...
He's at the Carlisle spring show if that helps the distance about 45 minutes...I know we're going...gotta keep the parts hoarding fest alive!

I got 8-9 mph shift changes with my adjustable modulator with 11 pounds set at the vrv....he moved the vrv with measuring the vacuum at the wrong end of the vrv so it is unkown what he's got at the modulator now...I'd bet the guys that rebuilt it adjusted the mod to get the shift it needed with...
We searched a few local guys that hoard gm parts...this guy is near Chambersburg right off 81 south of Carlilse...he has acres of trucks and parts...I think I counted 18 cabs and countless trucks, suburbans and blazers...has a huge pole barn filled with picked parts too and dozens of trailers...
Dang...at least you got them in the right spot now...is the vacuum regulator all the way forward?...all the way back gives it more vacuum so it'll shift later forward is less vacuum so it'll shift sooner...the trans should be set at 11 on the top vacuum line...it could be getting to much vacuum...
Crap I wrote it wrong...vacuum should be bottom and trans is top...swap them it'll work then...Oh and I set mine at 11 on the top hose at idle...shifts great.
So little update on the 1009...we took another shot at the fender Monday after school and it went great...got the battery trays all bolted in nice...I did find that the fender liner had dimples where you should drill holes for the battery trays to go in...thought that was nice...used some anti...
The amp size doesn't matter really...mine is a 2 or 6 amp switch one from tractor supply but puts out volts no matter what...slow charge is the best charge...the battery could be shorted out though.
So I gotta ask if the vacuum is coming in at the top of the vacuum valve at the throttle and going out to the trans at the bottom...I took a pic of mine just curious since mine did the same thing.
I think there's a ground on each side...but if the old light works then you got a bad light....I put a set in mine a while back and they work great...the blue high beam indicator works with them too...I got mine on the ol amazon but they fit and are very bright...you'll like them in there over...
If it says swap clamps you probably have a 12 volt charger and the batteries still have the cables hooked up to the genset...unhook them and charge away.
I got a new coolant overflow bottle today that fits kinda...it was super cheap so I'll hunt for something that will fit better...this ones top mount that needed drilled to fit, which I knew beforehand, is about an inch away from where it needs to be and the bump isn't deep enough...no biggie...
Swap the hoses at the vacuum switch on the throttle...mine was swapped and figured it out after a bit of testing...vacuum goes in the bottom comes out the top...if you have a vacuum gauge it'll make setting the switch easy.,,I set mine at 11 hg at idle running and it shifts great.
I watch tons of stuff on there but don't buy to much anymore...got a 1101 trailer about 3 months ago still waiting on papers...but yes the gensets dropped off the back of the cargo plane at 10k feet are bringing crazy money.
I'd suggest a nice long low charge on each battery for a few days just to top them off...even with a new one they really like that...2 or 6 amp..it won't fix the charge issue but at least they'll be topped off good...I gotta get the small solar panel thing for all mine yet...help keep them going...
