Well I finally scored a halftrack. It's an M16 per the data plate and double thick frame. She's rough, rusty and missing a bunch of stuff but her bones are solid. Winch is there including the drive shaft and PTO. Once I cut all the piping and crap off, she'll look more like a halftrack.

If it was me, I’d bevel the cracks then weld them and grind flush. Then I’d add a stiffener plate, larger then the stress area, under each hole and weld them in place.

I will get the word out sooner and yes, it's a one day event. There is RV camping at the Dixon fairgrounds 2 blocks from this event if you wanted to stay a night. You may be able to stay there with your rig and trailer if interested. Otherwise there a a couple reasonably priced hotels in Dixon.

Had the honor of having the Napa, Solano Veteran riders pose on my wrecker for a group picture. It was a great event with over 15K people attend. A great opportunity to get the word out regarding our unique hobby. Hope to have more folks join me there next year.
