    MEP-016D bowl Fuel Filter

I matched the filter with the help of my local NAPA. The filter crosses to a NAPA gold 3034 or a Wix 33034.

Very cool but it needs more chrome if you want to roll around in downtown Atlanta.

    MEP-016D bowl Fuel Filter

The fellas at my local Oreillys tried to match it up, but we couldn't find anything close. Napa is hard to get to during the week, but I'll give 'em a shot.

This is the filter and gasket I'm looking for. Anyone have a source or part number cross reference to a commonly available filter and gasket?

So you think the MEP-803 is underpowered huh? Well looky here...

Run it at about 5% load for a week. That might do it. Great test, thanks for posting. Finally a test with photo results that tells us how underrated a MEP truly is.

What have you done to your JEEP today

This week my Dad and I rebuilt my M38s carburetor. At some point the Carter YS was replaced with a Solex 32PBIC. My Jeep has been incredibly difficult to start since I bought it back in 2013. My father diagnosed it as a non-functional accelerator pump. His lifetime of automotive/carb experience...

    Wired local area communication system??

TA-1042 Digital nonsecure voice telephones will work as well. Several phones can be set up on a common power source and when you pick up one handset they all ring. No cranks or any other action required. The downside in they require four wires instead of two.

    Ultimate Off road and climber.

It's certainly a one-off custom vehicle, built not to be practical, just pure bad-azz fun. Who cares if it's hard to maintain, I'm sure the builder is intimately familiar with his ride. Anyone else notice the grill? Looks like it's from a M151 Mutt. I wonder if it started life as an M151...

    MEP-016D bowl Fuel Filter

I've been looking for a replacement set/day-tank fuel filter and bowl gasket. Not the Yanmar in-tank fuel filter but the original fuel filter. I tried searching to see if anyone has a part number and I tried to cross reference by size to no avail. Does anyone have a source or part number cross...

Article seems to suggest the MEP 802/803 line leaves a lot to be desired.

I don't know about the tests, but I have used many MEP-803/PU-798 generators for thousands of hours in the field over the last 15 years or so and my opinion is they're hard to beat. They are extremely reliable as long as they are maintained. With proper maintenance I might say they're...
