I printed mine at Office Depot for CHEAP. They offered us a discount on printing because we are a local chamber of commerce member. Like $20 for the -10. I only really used it once, and I now use the PDF's on an Ipad a LOT more however. Searching is good, flipping bad. Undiscounted...
Welcome to the forum, and if you have a specific question, start a new thread on your issue, the guys on here are gold. Let us know what shape it's in, the model numbers and pictures help. There isn't a lot of repair manuals out there for the MIL Gensets or the combination ones like you have...
For MBU errors, I sometimes get ER01, but only when the burner fails or refuses to start. Make sure your fuel is high (I oops'd on that once), and try at least 3-4 times. Never had one shut off on me on except for the off button, that one feels suspect to me. The first couple of starts are...
The griddle that comes with it was cast aluminum, which is still great IMO, but not a cast iron one. I'd be interested to see how stainless does, it might heat up and cool down quicker than we are all expecting. Those burners are serious, so keep that in mind, so you don't warp the steel...
Airmech, congrats. Looks like that thing has some good dust on it. Clean everything real good, and then fire it up to get rid of the rest. That was good advice on the stainless steel ones (I think that's a cool project to do, I might start looking for some good welders), but yes, sandblast /...
check for "branch cables", that's the official name. There are some MKT stuff out there. I have some slave to MBU extensions. Think they work in a pinch for the telefax to MBU, but I'd have to check. Ends are weird. Make sure you know what you are buying by NSN. I just ran across 2 new...
200 degrees for the stock one, although there is a debate on that. I think it's a perfect temp.
The PPV is that little valve in the pict coming off the wet tank. It looks like a knob that can turn. (this pict is NOT an A2, and is missing the CTIS switch lead)
The TM shows a good picture...
^^ That's a great way to stabilize it while still keeping things able to be used later / pick the problem back up later when you have time.
I understand the patience and money frustrations, but we have VERY knowledgeable CTIS people including a recent poster who IS the authority. My advice to...
Well then grab the CPU, all the wheel valves, counterbalance and hardware, and the pneumatic valve (on the cab floor), the pressure sensor is near the PPV, by the wet tank, and is super fragile looking dongle / harness. I'm all set, but several people on here were looking for that piece. And...
After 5 trips to a salvage yard, my thoughts are grab anything and everything if it's in good shape. We sort of kicked ourselves when the fun stopped and recounted what we could have gotten that went to the crusher. However, it's a bit tough to get rid of stuff sometimes. 24v stuff is always...
I've got both of those inside parts in the classifieds at moment, and going to be at my shop today, and see if I can rustle up the harness. They are off the 5-tons, but should work.

"I have only bought three 5 tons from auction". - That's really funny sounding. It's not a race, or is it?
Well, one auction here, and CTIS is wonderful. Never had a hub leak, so maybe that's why. I don't really need it, but then again, we don't need air conditioning either, yet some people...
Dude, that sucks. I thought you had the washers on already? I think I am going to do mine this winter. I am just happy those didn't go when doing 60. Mine came off when I had just gotten off the highway. So drill or weld, what's the concencus?

Always check both sides of your tailgate is secured before using it as leverage to get up and over the trailer tongue to go get it undone on the "other" side, as when they are both undone, it tends to come down when pulled and hit you in the head, almost knocking you out. I had to go ask the...
Also make sure the shop air compressor and line are disconnected from emergency air after airing up. While being dragged out, they tend to hit things like a small trailer that might pivot and break your to be installed windshield.
