My understanding is hemtt and mk48 were deliberately incompatible to avoid using hemtt tires on the mk48 as the sidewalls of the 16.00R20s weren't up to the sideways loading inflicted by the mk48.
The A3s have that CAT engine.
Funny you should mention learning to drive a manual transmission using an M35. That's exactly the vehicle I learned on some decades ago.

I transported my hmmwv either by driving it or transported on a heavy gooseneck trailer that I owned.
One option - buy an appropriate trailer and sell it after the move. Losses would be "trailer rent" , and you might even come out ahead.
Not that I can see, but I can't read it clearly.
My presumption is the odo was replaced and set to zero at rebuild , so what's on the odo is what's been put on the vehicle since overhaul.
I wonder how many engines/components are going to be ruined by people trying to save on fuel costs during this time of high prices...
Even expensive fuel is cheap in comparison to a destroyed irreplaceable engine...
