Anytime I'm connecting a battery that I'm not sure of.
make sure you just briefly tap it there, should be no spark of any kind. if there's a spark you know there's a problem. And if you're still not sure make sure you smell and look for smoke because there could be something else wrong this...
Sooo opinion is that the Duramax spin on filter assembly jungle store sells for around $75 with a filter is the best bang for the buck.

Got it,
it looked like there's a O ring on that setup and I didn't know if that was leaking On people that described it that way. but it sounds like it's a peace that needs to be deleted if it leaks as you described.

By looking at what you originally post, there is a control unit in the engine that controls the throttle (engine speed) up and down it has to be precisely at the right RPM to get the right Htz to have the generator make power from my understanding

I found that tool at Year One, that must have been where you got it from. so when you hook it , can you hook it when the upper alternator is installed on the driver side?
